Requirements
- This role will support relationships with local Logistics Service Providers across the Norgine European and Export freight, warehousing and distribution network.
- Liaise with the warehouse team on daily basis to understand their transport requirements,
- Liaise with freight supplier to confirm outbound transport requirements to maintain operational flows.
- Maintain the Hengoed transport forecast overview
- Request and obtain transport quotations for new transit lanes or ad hoc business requests
- Generate weekly Hengoed pallet forecasts for communicate to third party warehouses ( 3PL)
· Arrange ad hoc outbound shipments from Hengoed and returns to Hengoed
- Upload third party logistics providers pallet holding into the Global Distribution dashboard on a weekly basis
· Generate the long-term pallet forecast for communication to all 3PL markets
· Participate in weekly meetings with transport providers
- Support Audits by locating and providing data, related to shipments, delivery etc
- Support departmental continuous improvement projects
- The individual will be accountable for data gathering and report creation to support the end-to-end product flow out of the manufacturing sites to the third-party warehouses across EU/UK/OW within a complex freight, warehousing and distribution network.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Delivery against key strategic, service, quality and innovation targets.
• Development of “one Norgine” culture though ‘model’ process and behaviour.
• Participate in GD team governance activity.
• Participation GD process development.
Complexity
• The role is actively involved in the management of a complex freight, warehousing and distribution network.
• The role will require the application of problem-solving cultural awareness with a keen interest in change management to achieve objectives.
Accountability
• The individual will be accountable for data gathering and report creation to support the end-to-end product flow out of the manufacturing sites to the third-party warehouses across EU/UK/OW within a complex freight, warehousing and distribution network.
Relationships
• The job holder is required to maintain effective relationships with numerous internal functions, including Manufacturing, Warehousing, Quality Partners, Distributors ,transport providers.

AECOM and its joint venture partner have been appointed as design and consenting service partners for the UK National Grid's Great Grid Partnership. Part of a £9bn Enterprise partnership that will connect clean energy to homes and businesses across England and Wales by 2030. The joint venture's scope of work will include delivering the consents for individual schemes within the program. These consents will be through Development Consent Orders (DCOs), which entail technical and environmental design and preparation, as well as stakeholder engagement on the plans.

_Here's what you'll do:_
+ Oversee engineering design projects across the UK & Ireland, working closely with Discipline Leads, Project Managers, and Directors to build project teams from our global Enterprise Capability offices as needed.
+ Act as Technical Project Manager for multi-disciplinary design projects, overseeing various disciplines, including substation primary, cables, protection & control, civils, overhead lines, and environmental scopes.
+ You will have the opportunity to be involved in large programmes of work like GGP projects.
+ Oversee the entire lifecycle of design projects, from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
+ Manage various project phases, including concept, FEED, environmental assessments, permitting, consenting, planning, cost estimation, detailed engineering.
+ Ensure projects meet safety, health, environmental, sustainability, and quality standards.
+ Ensure design submissions comply with codes, standards, and quality requirements.
+ Ensure adherence to AECOM and client design management processes while leading project and client meetings as needed.
+ Provide regular updates on project progress, costs, schedules, procurement, safety, environmental concerns, and design challenges.
+ Manage projects or project components, including resource allocation, subcontractor coordination, design integrity, and client feedback
+ Support proposal preparation, lead presentations, and participate in contract negotiations.

The role of a Commercial Manager will be taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, often with respect to large and complex infrastructure commissions covering both private and public sector clients. Your role will be to ensure that client objectives are met through the delivery of a value-added commercial management service.
You'll play a vital role in delivering Commercial Management commissions for our clients. The role will require the successful individual to be confident in liaising with and presenting to both clients and contractors. An attention to detail is essential, but with an ability to position commercial context around the detail that enables our clients to make wider, impactful business decisions is just as important.
The role will cover all aspects of commercial management throughout the whole project lifecycle from initial inception/ business case through to completion/ commissioning.
You will provide Commercial Management Services across a wide range of sectors and will need to be flexible and able to adapt to different client requirements at short notice including working remotely, and happy to travel both throughout the UK and abroad in the pursuit of successful delivery. Travel may at times be frequent and could require time away from your base location.

+ Budget/ baseline development, aligned with our wider controls/ PMO teams, process development, estimation review and assurance, optioneering, inherent risk analysis, procurement/ tender review and assurance, life cycle costing, month end accruals and live forecasting, change and contingency management. Alignment with cost management team and commercial delivery.
+ Identification of process improvement opportunities for cost controls and commercial governance.
+ Interfacing and engagement with project staff including cost, commercial and controls.
+ Management of stakeholders and their expectations through regular communications.
+ Supporting the production of close-out reports.
+ Presentation of outputs and recommendations to clients and their supply chain.
