You will also play a key role in defining the scientific direction of the oncology discovery unit and identifying opportunities for strategic partnerships and acquisitions.

The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Pharmacology, or a related discipline, with a strong publication record demonstrating significant contributions to the field of oncology drug discovery. A minimum of 10 years of post-doctoral and industry experience in drug discovery, with a proven track record of successfully advancing drug candidates through the preclinical stages, is required. Extensive experience in oncology target identification and validation, assay development, and small molecule or biologic drug discovery is mandatory. Exceptional understanding of cancer biology, tumor immunology, and resistance mechanisms is crucial. You must possess outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a strong ability to lead and inspire research teams in a remote setting. Experience with data analysis software and bioinformatics tools is highly desirable.
