LUDO Sports & Live Lounge is looking for a Junior / Student Sound Engineer to join our team and support live music events. This is a great opportunity for someone starting out in sound engineering who wants to gain hands-on experience with professional audio equipment and work directly with performers in the best live music space in town.
What you’ll do
- Operate the Allen & Heath SQ5 mixing desk during rehearsals and live performances.
- Balance sound levels for each musician and instrument.
- Work with performers and LUDO staff to ensure the best possible live sound.
- Assist with setup, testing, and troubleshooting of sound equipment.
- Keep things running smoothly during live shows.

- Comfortable using a mixing desk (experience with Allen & Heath SQ5 is a big plus).

You'll also be responsible for commissioning content to both freelancers and in-house writers, staying on top of news within the category, and maintaining relationships with key product vendors. The ideal candidate will also be someone with a strong editorial voice and a true passion for the category that can help Tom’s Guide stand out with original stories and thoughtful analysis.

- Experience managing freelancers and monthly budget.
