The A/C Engineer will be responsible for covering retail and commercial sites across London and the M25 on a UK building services contract. As the Lead Engineer in the company, you will be expected to have experience working a wide range of Air Conditioning / HVAC systems, being able to braze, solder, replace compressors, condensers, fault find etc.
The Air Conditioning Engineer should have 5+ years minimum industry experience, carrying out service and repair of air conditioning systems within commercial premises. The Engineer must also hold their F-Gas Cat 1 and an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, in air conditioning and refrigeration.
Duties
- To deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance in line with the contract service delivery plan for Commercial HVAC equipment
- Carry out A/C works including minor projects & refurbishment
- Fault Find, investigate, troubleshoot and rectify defects in all A/C units & systems and any associated plant / components
- Single / Multi splits, VAVs, VRVs, VRFs, AHU, FCU's
- Replacing compressors, condensers, regassing, brazing, soldering etc
- Dealing with subcontractors where necessary
- Ensure all statutory documentation is completed and kept up to date at all times
