Our client is seeking a visionary and results-oriented E-commerce Marketing Director to lead their online sales and marketing initiatives in **Leeds**. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work combined with essential in-office collaboration days to drive strategic planning and team synergy. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive e-commerce strategy that drives traffic, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value. This includes overseeing all digital marketing channels, website optimisation, customer journey mapping, and promotional campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape, with a proven track record of success in managing and scaling online businesses. You will be a strategic thinker, a data-driven decision-maker, and an inspiring leader capable of motivating a high-performing marketing team. Key responsibilities include defining and implementing the overall e-commerce strategy, including sales targets, growth plans, and market penetration; managing and optimising all digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, email marketing, and affiliate marketing; leading website optimisation efforts to improve user experience, conversion rates, and average order value; developing and executing effective customer acquisition and retention strategies; analysing website performance data, customer behaviour, and market trends to identify opportunities and inform strategy; managing the e-commerce marketing budget and ensuring a strong ROI; collaborating closely with product, sales, and technology teams to ensure a seamless customer experience; leading, mentoring, and developing the e-commerce marketing team. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred); a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in e-commerce marketing, with at least 3 years in a director-level role; demonstrated expertise across all key digital marketing channels and e-commerce platforms; strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights; excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills; a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of current e-commerce best practices and emerging trends. Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation is essential. This role is perfect for a dynamic leader looking to make a significant impact in a growing e-commerce business.
