To achieve this ambitious goal, we’re seeking an experienced and motivated Education Officer to take ownership of our work with schools. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about outdoor education and conservation who thrives on empowering others to create change. 

What you will be doing:   

We're looking for someone to work with Primary and Secondary schools, directly with children and with teachers, to embed nature-based learning across the curriculum. You will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality educational sessions, training teachers, and championing outdoor learning. 

Who we are looking for:  

• You have a personal connection to nature and believe that connecting others to nature plays a key role in addressing the climate and ecological emergencies.  
li>Experience of teaching or delivering education / training sessions. Ideally with a background in teaching, outdoor learning, or Forest School.   < i>You have a proven ability to provide effective teacher training and inspire staff across primary and secondary settings. You are confident building relationships with teachers and senior school leaders, mentoring them to embed outdoor learning.   < i>You have a strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusion - taking on Designated Safeguarding Lead for under 18s.  li>Ideally, you hold a current outdoor first aid qualification.   < i>A full driving licence and the confidence to drive different vehicles is essential for this role.

The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive engagement programme to influence public behaviour around waste and recycling. The role aims to reduce residual waste, increase recycling rates, and promote the benefits of waste minimisation in line with local and national targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver public engagement campaigns to improve recycling quality and reduce waste

We are seeking an Electrical Training Officer to join a local training provider. This role is crucial for training, developing, and supporting trainees to achieve the required technical, safety, environmental, and behavioural standards necessary to meet the needs of our customers and the requirements of the EFSA/DFE, Apprenticeship Levy, and Apprenticeship Standards training programmes.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prepare and deliver training sessions in accordance with the programme and timetables to meet the funding ESFA/DFE, Apprenticeship Levy, and Employer Company requirements.
• Ensure that Health & Safety is adhered to in line with company policy and legal requirements.
• Assess and test trainee progress and deliver complete training in line with Apprenticeship Standards, Ofsted requirements, and ESFA/Apprenticeship levy funded programmes.
• Develop and review lesson plans and implement improvements to delivery, responding to course evaluation and feedback.
