Prospero Teaching is proud to be working with a newly refurbished and welcoming primary school in Poole. Set to reopen this summer in preparation for the new academic year in September, the school is seeking dedicated and compassionate Student Learning Partners to join their team.
This unique setting supports children who are unable to thrive in mainstream education, offering them a nurturing and tailored learning environment. As a Student Learning Partner, you will play a vital role in helping young learners engage with their education, build confidence, and achieve their potential.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have experience working with children in any setting
- Possess a calm, patient, and empathetic nature
- Can build trusting, supportive relationships with both pupils and staff
- Are committed to working collaboratively to support the best outcomes for each child
Your role will include:
- Assisting with classroom activities and adapting materials to individual needs
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Building strong, trusting relationships with students and staff
- Supporting pupils with personal care needs where required
Requirements:
- Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one
- Ability to provide two professional references/cover the last 2 years

Key Responsibilities
