Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Education Manager to lead the planning, development, and delivery of the ITIA’s global education programmes.
The successful candidate will utilise their programme and project management experience to create engaging and impactful educational content, tailored to diverse audiences across tennis.
Responsible for the line management of two members of the Education Team, the Education Manager will work with the Director of Education to translate our strategic objectives to education delivery.
Working at every level of the professional game from Grand Slams to elite junior events, the Education Manager will form strong working relationships with our key stakeholders and have positive, meaningful interactions with players, coaches, officials and support personnel at these events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To deliver anti-corruption and anti-doping training modules, courses and presentations to key player, official and other stakeholder audiences on an international basis
- To line manage Education Team members including workflows and project delegation
- To manage the administration, delivery, response and ongoing development of the Tennis Integrity Protection Programme (TIPP). Responsible for the relationship with external developers and contractors, ensuring that the service is of consistent quality and costs are in line with the education budget
- To work with the Director of Education to develop curricula and education programmes for stakeholder groups in line the strategic aims of the education team, identifying new opportunities across the tennis landscape
- To oversee resource development in line with the education plan and lead the education input to the ITIA’s Resource Hub
- To work with communications, legal and anti-doping teams to identify and disseminate relevant anti-doping notices and updates, including responsibility for end of year TACP and TADP rule updates
- To manage principal relationships with identified partners (e.g. tours) and oversee relevant programme management across the education team
- To contribute to strategic planning and monitoring compliance of the education programme with WADA’s International Standard for Education (ISE)
- To oversee the monitoring and reporting of education delivery across the education programme, contributing to board papers and producing reports as required.
Skills & Experience Required
ESSENTIAL:
- Practical experience delivering effective, sport-related training and education programmes
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal skills and presentation skills, adaptable to suit a wide range of audiences
- Experience of using and developing online learning platforms
- A deep knowledge of professional sport
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
- Degree level, or equivalent, qualification in Sport/Education
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT/technology programmes and platforms
DESIRABLE:
- Linguistic skills, particularly Spanish or French
- Understanding of the integrity landscape within sport
- Previous experience working in elite sport
- Knowledge of professional tennis

Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging functional skills (Maths & English) sessions aligned with Pearson/Ascentis standards.

Skills

About the RoleYou will provide efficient and professional administrative support for all aspects of teaching and learning activities, assisting in achieving a high quality and timely service to current and prospective students, and staff relating to the designated courses/programmes and beyond. - The role will mainly be based at UCL's Bloomsbury Campus
- This role is eligible for hybrid working with 40-60% on site. Ideally, the postholder will be onsite every Thursday and on alternative Tuesdays. Some flexibility may be able to be explored where required
