In response to the continued expansion of the Affera Mapping System and Medtronic's sustained investment in the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) portfolio, we are seeking a highly motivated professional with a strong passion for clinical training and talent development to join us as Affera Regional Clinical Educators. This position will focus on driving clinical excellence among Affera Mapping Specialists in United Kingdom. The ideal candidates will be an experienced educator with the ability to assess individual competencies and design tailored training programmes, ensuring the field team is fully equipped to deliver best-in-class support during the rollout of the Affera system and other electrophysiology technologies across the UK. This role combines advanced expertise in electrophysiology and cardiac mapping with strong training and educational capabilities, offering a highly impactful and rewarding opportunity. The Affera Regional Clinical Educators will report to the Affera Clinical Lead, NWE - Cardiac Ablation Solutions. You will need a full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ Partner with UK & Ireland Sales and Marketing teams, along with Affera Regional Clinical Managers, to drive utilisation of the Affera Mapping System and broader CAS portfolio through in-field training, coaching, and ongoing clinical support
+ Spend approximately 80% of time in the field, focusing on capability development through site visits, structured training delivery, performance coaching, feedback, and reinforcement of best practice standards
+ Identify, develop, and disseminate clinical best practices while defining and promoting key success factors across the region
+ Communicate and cascade relevant clinical data in alignment with the overarching marketing and clinical strategy
+ Monitor competitor activity and contribute to the development of strategies that strengthen competitive positioning and field effectiveness
+ Collaborate closely with the Training & Education team and Clinical Excellence Manager to ensure consistency and alignment of training standards and initiatives
+ Lead the distribution and effective cascade of training materials developed by global and European teams
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree required; a degree in Science or Medical Engineering is preferred.
+ Typically, 4+ years of relevant experience as an EP Cardiac Physiologist or in a clinical/technical role within Cardiac Electrophysiology.
+ Strong understanding of electrophysiology (EP) and ablation technologies, including their clinical applications.
+ Hands-on clinical EP experience, including expertise in 3D mapping systems and independent support of both routine and complex EP procedures.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
+ Demonstrated leadership capabilities and strong team collaboration skills.
+ Self-motivated, organised, and proactive, with the ability to operate autonomously and support both technical and commercial objectives.
Professional accreditation (e.g., IBHRE, EHRA, BHRS) is advantageous.

  • Close work with mental health services in developing the local wellbeing strategy, support for children and young people experiencing emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA) and critical incident responses.

About you

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Educational Psychologist who is HCPC registered and holds a recognised postgraduate professional qualification in Educational Psychology (MSc or DEdPsych). You will have at least three years' experience working as a qualified Educational Psychologist within a Local Authority context and demonstrate a strong commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people, particularly those who are vulnerable or have additional needs.

You will bring substantial experience of multi-disciplinary working and be confident in developing effective relationships with parents, carers, schools, colleagues and partner agencies. Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills are essential, alongside the ability to work collaboratively and sensitively with a wide range of stakeholders. You will have a thorough understanding of psychological theories, educational psychology practice and evidence-based interventions, as well as current legislation and developments relating to education, SEND and wider children's services.

As a senior EP, you will demonstrate effective leadership, management and supervisory skills, with experience of supporting, motivating and developing others. You will be able to contribute to policy and strategy development, lead service improvement initiatives and support the implementation of organisational priorities. Excellent organisational skills are essential, including the ability to manage competing demands, plan effectively, organise people and delegate appropriately.

You will be an effective team player who values the perspectives of others and contributes positively to collaborative working. The ability to produce high-quality, clear and professional reports is essential. We are seeking someone who is committed to continuous professional development and who brings both professional expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality psychological services that make a meaningful difference to children, families and educational settings.

The AET CEO is responsible for the education of all the young people in the Trust’s Academies, leading the executive team and ensuring that all schools are successful over time in a sustainable way. You will provide high‑level strategic leadership and management across all aspects of the Trust’s activities, ensuring high quality education for all pupils through the effective and efficient use of resources and people.

The Role Encompasses
  • Strategic Governance & Ethical Leadership: Securing robust oversight, legal accountability, educational excellence, and an inspirational, safeguarding‑first culture.
  • High Quality Inclusive Education: Driving ambitious curriculum design, inclusive excellence, exemplary teaching standards, targeted support, and statutory compliance.
  • Finance, Risk & Compliance: Upholding rigorous financial accountability, strategic budgeting, risk mitigation, and long‑term sustainability of the Trust.
  • Communications & Reputational Leadership: Enhancing the Trust's profile through proactive community engagement, board advisory, and transparent executive reporting.
  • People & Culture: Fostering a collaborative workforce, pioneering talent management, championing professional development, and embedding inclusive staff practices.
  • Public Benefit & Civic Duty: Acting as an ambassadorial leader who builds collaborative external partnerships and champions ethical standards within the wider education landscape.
  • Strategic Growth: Leading managed growth, partnership building, academy conversions, and successful project oversight.
The Person

We are seeking a leader with credibility, expertise and ambition who is passionate about improving education at scale. You will likely bring:

  • Significant senior leadership experience within schools or a multi‑academy trust.
  • A proven track record of leading successful school improvement strategies and raising standards.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple schools or phases.
  • The ability to inspire, mentor and develop current and aspiring school leaders.
  • A deep commitment to inclusion, equity and improving outcomes for all pupils.
