Key Role Responsibilities
- Build and manage strong relationships with schools, focusing on their evolving IT needs.

We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties).
We are looking for SEN / SEND tutors with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Somerset / Bristol.
At Targeted Provision our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. We keep the team around the child, and you will be supported throughout every placement by our team of SEN / SEND Support Specialists.

Our client runs an Alternative Education Provision service, serving primary and secondary-aged pupils with EHCPs relating mainly to ASC, SEMH with their main headquarters based in Weston Super Mare. They operate a ‘revolving-door’ offering whereby students stay at the provision for up to 18 weeks, either on a full-time or part-time basis before returning to mainstream education or attending a special school. We are currently recruiting for their new Exeter site which is based in the Stoke Hill area of Exeter. Elmtree Learning Partnership have successfully supported learners at their other sites since 2022 (url removed) . We support between x16 - x50 learners at our Exeter site through the academic year, both onsite & offsite.
We are seeking someone ideally with previous experience of having worked with children, or other relevant interactions and who is available to offer transport services from x2 childrens homes' to the learning site, as well as the return journey. Whilst this is a role to provide transport to learners and not directly supporting their education, the ideal person must be able to act as a positive role model.
We're looking for someone who willing, able and confident to drive the company vehicles which is an MPV / people-carrier. It's not expected that you would be using your own vehicle although this is permissable (expenses paid.) We are very open to a job-share for this role and or a hybrid role, which would involve supporting children in learning activities, provided the overall transport hours are covered. You will be working with children that have additional needs and may have experienced trauma or other adverse childhood experiences, therefore, as a person we're seeking someone, calm, patient and empathetic.
Essential criteria:
- Full, clean driving licence (ideally manual transmission qualified)
- Minimum 25 years old (for insurance reasons)
- Willingness to undergo Safeguarding & Prevent training
- DBS Enhanced Disclosure (this can be processed for you if your application is successful)
Desirable criteria:
- Additional driver training (MIDAS trained, Advanced Driving Training, ROSPA driver training)
The role is offered on a fixed-term contract basis until the end of the academic year (22/07/2026) with the intention to offer a permanent contract from September 2026, pending funding review.

The role
They’re looking for a really driven and ambitious professional who is passionate about education to join their team as Account Manager. You’ll cover schools across the Midlands and South West of England, and responsibilities include:
- Be an ambassador for the company and fully own your client account portfolio
- Effectively build professional and trusting relationships with schools and Multi-Academy Trusts
- Manage client objections and expectations confidently when discussing service provision
- Work with the wider team to help improve the provision of IT in client schools and develop strategies that will improve education outcomes through technology
- Apply proactive sales strategies, ensuring client needs are met and sales opportunities are maximised to meet product, service and recurring revenue targets
- Make regular contact with clients to ensure services are being delivered satisfactorily, including post-project follow-up calls
- Develop an expert knowledge of the company’s current IT solutions, products and services.
- Produce quotations and proposals for existing clients and new business opportunities
- Respond to new sales enquiries and leads from vendor partners
- Manage agreements and the renewal process for all recurring services, exploring opportunities to enhance the current levels of service
