This role is perfect for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who are eager to work via 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner, to raise their engagement and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.

- These young people are referred to us by local authorities and schools and will require some level of support in their educational and social-emotional journey

- Providing the young person with holistic and engaging sessions which meet their needs and advance their educational and social-emotional journey
- Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on the young person's progress
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
- Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
- Two professional references
- You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online assignments

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate high-quality early years curriculum and educational programs.
- Provide expert guidance and support to early years educators, fostering professional development and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and quality standards for early years education, including Ofsted guidelines.
- Promote a child-centered approach to learning, encouraging creativity, exploration, and critical thinking.
- Conduct regular observations and assessments of children's progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Oversee safeguarding and child protection procedures, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all children.
- Develop strong partnerships with parents and families, involving them in their child's learning journey.
- Organize and facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff on early years education topics.
- Lead on initiatives to enhance the learning environment and resources available to children.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in early childhood education.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the organization's educational offerings.
- Manage allocated budgets for educational resources and professional development.
- A relevant degree in Early Childhood Education, Pedagogy, or a related field.
- A recognized Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working in an early years setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or specialist role.
- Thorough knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and national curriculum guidelines.
- Excellent understanding of child development theories and learning methodologies.
- Proven experience in curriculum development and implementation.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- A clear and enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Experience in managing teams and resources effectively.
