32.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am - 4.00pm

Empowering Learning are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrative Officer to join a warm, welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tameside from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and nurturing school environment, where children, families and staff are at the heart of everything the school does.

We are looking for someone who will act as the welcoming face of the school - supporting the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, and School Business Manager - and will take pride in delivering a high standard of administrative support. This is a vital front-of-house role and requires someone who is calm under pressure, highly organised, and friendly in their approach.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • A positive, proactive and flexible approach to their work

  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work independently in a busy environment

  • Experience working with children and families

  • Strong IT and administration skills

  • The ability to remain calm and professional at all times

The Higher Education Blended Learning department is actively recruiting an experienced Lecturer on a sessional basis in Business related disciplines. 

This post will play an integral part of our Blended programme provision which consists of a suite of Pearson Higher Nationals and BSc Top up Degrees delivered predominantly in partnership with sports academies.  

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a progressive, learner focused department that places innovative teaching, learning and assessment at the forefront of their professional practice. 

For this role, you will have experience of teaching undergraduate students within your specialist areas of business-related disciplines inclusive of Leadership and Management, Business Strategy and Marketing Processes and Planning. 

You will also have the ability to contribute towards the delivery and assessment of Qualitative/Quantitative Research Methods as well as the supervision of student research projects within the HND programme. 

Knowledge and experience of delivering HNC / HND programmes would also be an advantage.  Moreover, the post may require travel throughout the UK to support our Blended students within sporting academy premises.
