You’ll create innovative content for online, self-led, and tutor-led formats, develop storyboards and scripts, and bring compliance-focused learning to life through thoughtful instructional design.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Previou experience in a similar role as an instructional designer, content designer, or eLearning designer in a predominantly commercial setting. Experience within a commercial learning business would be preferred.
• Degree-level and/ or similar qualifications within instructional design, learning design theory, pedagogy or similar fields.
• A strong track record in designing, developing, and quality-assuring both instructor-led and digital learning content.
• Solid understanding of instructional design theory and hands-on experience with learning, such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Practical experience integrating AI tools into learning development and delivery processes.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms, SCORM/ xAPI standards, and learning analytics.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and inclusive design principles.
• Experience scripting and storyboarding for video and multimedia content.
• Confidence using project management and asset management tools.

To be successful in this role, it would be great if you have:

• Experience working in regulated industries such as financial compliance, governance, or similar sectors.
• Hands-on experience scripting and storyboarding for video production and multimedia content.
• A solid understanding of learning analytics and how to apply data-driven design approaches.
• Familiarity with agile or iterative development methodologies.

Instructional Designer (end-to-end)

Client:

This global trade association supports companies and professionals by providing specialist training, independent accreditation, and up-to-date technical guidance. It works closely with industry, regulators, and standard-setting bodies to influence policy and promote best practice worldwide.

Key Experience required :

• A highly experienced, end-to-end, proactive, and adaptable Instructional Designer with a strong multimedia production background to temporarily cover a maternity leave position.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing engaging and accessible learning experiences, producing multimedia content, and collaborating closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to transform technical information into impactful training materials.
• Experience with video tools such as Vyond, Synthesia, or Camtasia is required, and must have a solid understanding of both the Adobe Creative Suite and MS Teams.
• Authoring tool experience not specific, as will be utilising the authoring tool option on the company's LMS.
• Must have the ability to proofread, design, develop, and ensure content is of a high level that relates to the learner.

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer, Technology Training to lead the design and development of engaging, effective training and product documentation for functional users, implementers, and administrators of our SaaS product suite. This role requires a creative and analytical professional who can translate complex software functionality into digestible learning experiences in a variety of delivery formats. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of adult learning theory and will be skilled at conducting needs assessments, storyboarding eLearning modules, capturing and editing videos, designing and developing scenarios, interactions, and simulations, and delivering instructor-led training (ILT) and product demos.
