About the Role
Join a busy Prep Centre in Lutterworth, where more than 1,600 vehicles are prepared each month. We're looking for a skilled EV Technician to carry out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on hybrid and electric vehicles, ensuring every car meets our high standards before reaching the showroom.
General Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair hybrid and electric vehicles
- Maintain and service high-voltage systems safely
- Carry out electrical/software updates and calibrations
- Perform inspections and technical assessments
- Work closely with the Workshop Controller and team
To be considered, you must have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- EV/Hybrid training (IMI Level 3 or higher preferred)
- Experience as a diagnostic technician, ideally across multiple brands
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Good communicator, team player, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence

Our client, an Essex based specialist engineering company, has an urgent requirement for a permanent Electric Motor Winder to join their specialist team.
Reporting to the works manager, you will be responsible for disassembling, repairing, rewinding, testing and reassembling electric motors, generators, transformers, rotors, armatures, coils and other electro-mechanical components.
Ideally you will have come from a motor rewinding or repair background and have a technical diploma or associate degree in electrical/mechanical fields.
Duties will include:

- Performing final testing including dielectric, core loss, phase balance, meg-ohm and rotational direction

The Opportunity
Elite has been retained exclusively to identify an experienced and dynamic BEV Program Manager to spearhead LiuGong’s electric construction equipment rollout across the European market.
Reporting directly to the European Product Director, this role will be instrumental in delivering full-lifecycle, commercially viable BEV solutions for key customers, rental fleets, and public sector operators. This is a highly cross-functional position requiring collaboration across sales, engineering, product, and marketing teams in Europe, the UK, and China.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated BEV Solutions & Strategic Partnerships
- Define and deliver complete BEV product packages tailored to rental, fleet, and public sector use cases.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and technical teams to integrate Ilink telematics, financing, and service bundles.
- Support key account acquisition through customized go-to-market strategies.
Product Lifecycle Management
- Lead the lifecycle of BEV products from pilot validation to market scaling and end-of-life.
- Work with headquarters and regional teams to define specifications, pricing, and launch plans.
- Oversee readiness planning including demo programs, aftersales support, and commercial tooling.
Application Profiling & Technical Matching
- Conduct field research to build robust application and customer use-case libraries.
- Match machines to application needs based on power, duty cycle, and performance demands.
- Develop productivity modeling and battery longevity forecasts by application type.
TCO & Tender Enablement
- Maintain and train teams on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) calculators and ROI models.

Customer Training & Market Enablement
- Develop training content and tools for BEV customers, dealers, and rental partners.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
Experience:
- 5+ years in strategic product development, marketing, or program management roles.
- Experience in electric vehicles, construction equipment, or industrial machinery.
- Proven background in dealer management or key account support highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical understanding of electrified machinery and application engineering.
- Commercially savvy with excellent stakeholder management abilities.
- Confident communicator with outstanding presentation, training, and facilitation skills.
- Languages: Fluent English essential; additional European languages a plus.
