Job Role :
- Senior Designer: Applies understanding of a range of design processes, tools, systems and techniques, and applies these to design or detail for assemblies, components or systems. Designs and develops solutions to common or well-articulated design situations, problems and issues.

Job Description:
• We are looking for an experienced Functional Electrics Engineer to join our Wing Engineering design team at Filton Bristol. We are in the middle of a very significant transformation which brings together the lifecycle of our entire production system and supply chain in one seamless digital world – including the aerospace products themselves. All while supporting the current design needs and systems typical of a legacy product. As a result of that we are looking for a Functional Electrics Engineer to join our current team.
What you will be doing
• The main tasks and responsibilities will include:
• Review and validate Electrical Installation definition Design data for manufacture in line with applicable Design processes and rules for the relevant programs.
• Understand Level1 inputs and validate wiring architecture documentation at System Architecture level (ATA28 and ATA32 perimeters).
• Understand Functional inputs and validate Functional Electrics to Electrics Installation configuration documents.
• Ensure the delivery of technical solutions in accordance with relevant Design methods and procedures.
• Understanding and supporting the validation of design requirements.
• Analyse and validate design requirements and agreement of deviations with stakeholders if and when needed.
• You will support relevant cross functional working and integration to achieve a right first time delivery achieving all the planned and agreed milestones. All risks for which they are responsible are managed and mitigated or escalated where required.
• Interpret functional requirements provided by systems for production of Principle Diagrams (PD’s), Extended Principle Diagrams (EPD’s) and Wiring Diagrams (WD’s) in a timely manner to achieve project targets whilst adhering to our processes.
• New/updated functional requirements will be provided by systems which will have impacts on our production PD’s/EPD’s/WD’s, these will need updating using the Capital and See-XP design tools to come in-line with the changes.
