Our client is a nationally recognised manufacturer going through a period of continued growth who are looking to appoint a Test Engineer. The successful Test Engineer will be responsible for the testing, inspection and repair of electrical equipment.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Perform electrical testing and inspection of electrical equipment in accordance with industry standard.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure equipment meets customer and regulatory requirements.

• Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to resolve non-conformities and support continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety procedures are strictly followed during all testing operations.
Skills and qualifications:
• A degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience working high-voltage equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical testing methods, standards, and instrumentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

- In-house testing of transformers/marshalling enclosures/control panels
