The day to day of this role includes preventive maintenance tasks on medical equipment, travelling to sites UK wide. This role is weekday based and has a possibility of stayaway.

The ideal candidate for this role will have preventative maintenance experience with small equipment such as IT, printers, medical equipment etc. Previous work in a hospital environment is advantageous but not essential.

The role:

• Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
• Field based and lab based in Corby
• UK wide patch - possible stayaway

The person:

• Preventative maintenance experience with small equipment
• Background working in a hospital environment is advantageous but not essential
• Full UK driving license

• Conduct thorough client consultations and skin assessments to determine suitability and recommend personalized treatment plans, including laser therapies, advanced facials, and other aesthetic procedures.
• Perform a comprehensive suite of laser treatments such as hair removal, skin rejuvenation, tattoo removal, and vascular lesion treatments.
• Administer advanced aesthetic treatments including microneedling, chemical peels, and other non-invasive procedures.
• Ensure the safe and effective operation of all laser and aesthetic equipment, adhering strictly to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records, documenting treatment progress and outcomes.
• Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care to optimize results and ensure client safety.
• Stay at the forefront of advancements in medical aesthetics, laser technology, and skincare science.
• Collaborate with the medical director and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Manage treatment schedules efficiently and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
• Contribute to the development of new treatment protocols and service offerings.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient confidentiality.
• Provide remote guidance and support to clients as needed, ensuring continuity of care.

• Level 4 or 5 Diploma in Laser and Light Therapies, or equivalent, is essential. A Level 3 or 4 qualification in Beauty Therapy is also required.
• Significant experience (5+ years) as a practicing Medical Aesthetician or Laser Technician, with a strong portfolio of work.
• Proficiency and certification in operating various types of medical-grade lasers and aesthetic devices.
• In-depth knowledge of skin histology, physiology, and common dermatological conditions.
• Excellent understanding of contraindications and precautions for aesthetic and laser treatments.
• Exceptional client assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
• Professional, empathetic, and client-focused demeanor.
• Familiarity with telehealth or remote client consultation platforms is a plus.
