About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and confident Engagement Coordinator to be the face of LiveWell Dorset in local communities. In this pivotal role, you will build relationships with key stakeholders, increase visibility of our service, and inspire individuals to take the first step towards a healthier, happier life.
You will attend and represent the service at community events, connect with under-represented groups, and create opportunities to expand engagement. This is an exciting chance to make a tangible difference in people's wellbeing across Dorset.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador for LiveWell Dorset, raising awareness through events, community activities, our pop-up shop and outreach.
- Deliver health interventions such as blood pressure checks and provide tailored support to encourage lifestyle improvements.
- Engage with groups both in person and virtually, presenting information to charities, community organisations, and under-served populations.
- Build and maintain a network of local contacts to generate new engagement opportunities.
- Collaborate within the Training & Engagement Team to align activities with the service's strategic goals.
- Support, and occasionally deliver, NHS Health Checks (full training provided).
- Maintain accurate administration and reporting using IT systems.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills (Word, Excel, databases, email).
- GCSEs (A-C) in English and Maths or equivalent.
- Experience in health promotion, community engagement, and one-to-one support.
- Demonstrated ability to influence change within community organisations.
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Strong organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills.
- Level 2 Understanding Health Improvement (or equivalent)
Additional Information
- Hours will be worked flexibly between 8am-8pm, Monday to Friday, with regular weekend work to attend community events and man the pop-up shop
- Part-time applicants (22 hours per week) are welcome to apply.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential, as travel across Dorset is required.

Description:
The Senior Engagement Manager oversees the on time, on budget delivery of the defined solution scope to meet the customer's desired results. This requires the EM to complete the project following leading practice methodology, "Now Create", working in collaboration with the customer project team and any involved partner, ensuring governance is followed to gain team member support for the project, including risk and issue mitigation. The EM is also responsible for assembling and leading the resources on the project making sure they understand the planned tasks, tracking actual progress, and managing deviations through appropriate measures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery team throughout the engagement, often in collaboration with a services partner.
- Manage the engagement governance, timeline, scope, risk, change management, resourcing, reporting, and financials.
- Work with the Sales Account Team, partner, and customer to understand the customer and the engagement; including challenges, partners, issues, and value being delivered.
- Understand the goals and align the deliverables accordingly.
- Apply expertise from the Now Create methodology and prescriptive guidance to promote delivery of the engagement, including long-term customer success.
- Be the single contact to encourage collaboration and customer agreement on proposed solutions.
- Mentor Customer Outcomes or Partner team members to achieve the engagement's deliverables and promote the customer's desired results.
- Lead the delivery team throughout large complex engagements, often in collaboration with a services partner.
- Identify gaps between actuals and plan of record, proposing solutions and driving resolutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 8+ years progressive experience as part of a professional services organization.
- Experience in managing the implementation of workflow or business transformation solutions.
- Success driving complex issues through analysis and resolution.
- Creativity with comfort running projects independently.
- Industry domain expertise in workflow.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
- Beneficial: Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud computing.
Experience in project management of technical programs
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
AWS experience preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
Strong understanding of AWS services, architectures, and best practices
Experience applying AWS frameworks like Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework
