Objective:

This position is responsible for delivering core HR operations across the region, with a primary focus on ER (employee relations) investigations and HR administration.


Job Responsibilities:


• Provide guidance to managers and employees on employee relations matters in line with company policies and local employment laws.

• Manage the resolution of workplace conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters.

• Facilitate ER training for managers, supervisors, and employee-levels

• Support and deliver redundancy and restructuring processes in line with UK employment law and company policy as initiated by Project HR and Project Management

• Perform other duties as required by the HR Manager Policy & Compliance

• Oversee leave management including annual leave, sick leave, parental leave, and other statutory entitlements.

• Advise managers and employees on leave policies and processes.

• Provide guidance to employees and managers on eligibility, documentation, and return-to-work processes for family-related leaves

• Support the review and update of HR policies and procedures in alignment with legislative changes and best practices.

• Deliver advice, guidance and coaching of country level work visa requirements, work visa options, compliance and related HR/payroll work processes whilst ensuring compliance is maintained within the region

• Provide support to project HR staff, as required, ensuring consistency and compliance of regional HR activities including onboarding, managing assignments, redeployment, and separations



Basic Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources with proven experience in the UK

• CIPD certification or equivalent

• Significant work experience handling employee investigations

  • Develop talking points and briefing materials for spokespeople.
  • Support crisis communications efforts, including developing response strategies and statements.
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities for media engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing, social media, and content teams to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Organize and facilitate media interviews and press conferences (virtual or in-person as needed).
  • Track and measure the impact of media relations activities on brand reputation and business objectives.
  • Manage media lists and databases.
  • Stay informed about industry news and competitor activities.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to position the company as a thought leader.
  • Effectively manage your workload and communicate progress in a remote setting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in media relations, public relations, or corporate communications, with a proven track record of securing media placements.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with journalists and media outlets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Proficiency in media monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater).
  • Experience in crisis communications and media management.
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape, including traditional and digital channels.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience with remote collaboration tools and maintaining communication in a distributed team.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills are a plus.
