Would you like to take up a new role within our charity, as a Talent and Retention Officer in our People Services Team?
This exciting and diverse role, will involve supporting the onboarding of new employees to our organisation, along with dealing with a range of HR-related queries.
We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and experience with recruitment, to work under the People Services Business Partner (PBP).
You will provide effective support and advice for the efficient administration of high quality, accurate, and responsive recruitment and retention activities for managers, employees and candidates.
You will assist the PBP to provide support to a designated service area of responsibility, and act as the first point of contact for all initial customer enquiries across a wide range of services and channels including phone, email, social media and face to face.
All staff are required to always represent Autism Together in a professional and responsible manner.
Staff are required to undertake, in exceptional circumstances, and following prior consultation, other duties which may, from time to time be specified by senior management.

Key Responsibilities
- Candidate Pipeline Management: Work collaboratively with the Care & Support team to maintain a robust and active pipeline of pre-vetted candidates, responding swiftly to urgent staffing needs and consistently achieving agreed performance targets. li>Proactive Sourcing: Source candidates through diverse channels including job boards, social media, referrals, networking events, and talent attraction initiatives.
- Job Posting & Content: Develop innovative and engaging job postings to attract top talent.
- Talent Management: Manage the attraction, recruitment, and retention of suitable candidates to meet the dynamic needs of the division.
Compliance
You will ensure that only suitably qualified and fully compliant workers are deployed, adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements. This includes:
- Vetting & Screening: Complete all candidate vetting and screening in accordance with REC, Home Office/Border Agency, and all other relevant UK sector-specific legislation and good practice.
- Application Review: Interview, review, and evaluate candidate applications, identifying employment gaps and requesting references to confirm employment history.
- Right to Work & Checks: Assess identification, address history, eligibility, and confirm Right to Work in the UK, including completing online Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
