Our client, a prominent player in the global Oil & Gas industry, is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Remote Lead Well-being and Safety Strategist. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility to work from any location within the UK. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the company's overarching strategy for health, safety, and environmental (HSE) performance across all operations. This senior role involves developing and implementing robust policies, procedures, and initiatives aimed at fostering a zero-incident culture and ensuring the well-being of all personnel. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth risk assessments, developing comprehensive hazard identification and control programs, and ensuring compliance with all national and international Oil & Gas safety regulations. You will lead the development of emergency response plans, conduct incident investigations, and implement lessons learned to prevent recurrence. A significant part of your role will involve engaging with and advising senior management on strategic HSE matters, championing safety leadership at all levels, and promoting a proactive safety culture. You will also be instrumental in developing and delivering high-impact HSE training programs and awareness campaigns.
