A Legal 50 national firm is looking for a confident junior Solicitor (NQ-2 PQE) to join their top tier Employment team based in central London. The team works with recognisable FTSE 250 listed employers and has a track record of complex cases. Typical sectors that are serviced include technology and life-sciences, with a growing practice for financial services.

The firm is looking for an excellent Associate with a background in London Employment law and can offer a flexible work/life balance and highly competitive renumeration in compensation. Key Responsibilities:

• Managing contentious and non-contentious matters for commercial clients.
• Deliver outstanding client service, with relationship building and a sound understanding of client legal and commercial requirements.

• Conduct advocacy when required.
• Assisting other areas of the firm on corporate support and outsourcing.

Skills and Experience:

• UK qualified Employment Solicitor with 0 - 2 years PQE (other levels will be considered) from a reputable London firm.
• A demonstrated track record and an enthusiasm for high-quality employment law matters.
• Strong academic background at degree and A-level.
• Technically strong understanding of contentious and non-contentious employment law.
• Ability to lead on employment tribunal matters.
• A passionate personality with an enthusiasm for personal development and strong interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills (Non-essential)

• Experience of advising financial services businesses, on matters including SMRC, renumeration, and conduct rules.
• Experience advising on restrictive covenant disputes and team moves.
• Language skills (Spanish, French, German etc)
