The Opportunity
We invite a subject matter expert in tank and pressure vessel engineering to consider future opportunities within our dynamic team at KBR. This highly respected role involves extensive interaction with clients, project managers, suppliers, senior leadership, and our global network of mechanical engineers across KBR's international offices.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership in the engineering of LNG storage tanks, atmospheric storage tanks, and pressure vessels. Relevant experience is typically gained through working for a consulting engineering firm or an end-user organisation.
What We Are Looking For:
+ A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Chartered engineer status is preferred.
+ Proven track record as a subject matter expert on energy transition and petrochemical projects, covering concept development, front-end engineering design, and detailed design.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of static equipment design standards relevant to energy transition or oil and gas sectors.
+ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

My Banking client is seeking to recruit a Dynatrace Subject Matter Expert on an initial 6 month contract to be based in either London, Manchester, Birmingham or Edinburgh (2x days per week onsite).

* Collaborate with EMAS to analyse Dynatrace coverage of critical assets.
* Work together with all parties to identify opportunities for enhancement to monitoring configuration and capabilities across critical applications.
* Participate in the review of roles and responsibilities between teams for observability and make recommendations for improvement of the standards with an emphasis on Operational Resilience.

The Data Resilience team is collaborating with the Enterprise Monitoring & Alerting (EMAS) team to deliver a transformative initiative aimed at maximising Dynatrace capabilities. We are looking for a skilled Dynatrace Admin/Consultant to enable observability across complex, hybrid cloud environments.
Essential Skills:
To thrive in this role, you must demonstrate extensive experience in designing and configuring within Dynatrace, including:
- Application Performance Monitoring
- Proficiency in Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) and Grail for advanced analytics
- Anomaly Detection Profiles
- Alerting Rules and Alert Profiles
- Synthetic Monitoring
- Log Monitoring
- Real User Monitoring (RUM)
- API integration of Dynatrace with external systems
Ideally, you will have Davis AI to:
- Automatically detect anomalies and performance degradations.
- Correlate events across the full stack for root cause analysis.
- Provide predictive insights and proactive recommendations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Application Stewards and Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) to identify and verify critical assets for monitoring.
- Work with EMAS to analyse Dynatrace coverage of these critical assets.
- Identify opportunities for enhancement in monitoring configurations across crucial applications.
- Review roles and responsibilities concerning observability and propose improvements focused on Operational Resilience.
- Contribute to establishing an automated end-to-end business flow for key business processes within the Dynatrace toolset.
- Ensure optimal alerting configurations in collaboration with Application Stewards and SREs.
- Participate in workshops with third-party software suppliers to review observability standards.
