We are looking for a dynamic and committed leader to join the HVDC Product Delivery Group's Center of Excellence, taking on a pivotal role in delivering the energy transition.
As UK Team Leader for Project Engineering Managers (PEMs), you will report directly to the Global Head of Project Engineering Management. You will be responsible for leading and growing the team of PEMs based in Stafford, ensuring the successful execution of HVDC projects within your scope.
**Job Description**
**Your Key Responsibilities**
+ Drive the performance and successful delivery of HVDC projects, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and execution excellence.
+ Lead, grow, and develop the UK PEM team: ensure talent acquisition, onboarding, career development, and technical leadership.
+ Take ownership of the project KPIs (QCD, risks, client engagement) and ensure project engineering delivery meets expectations.

As our new UK PEM Team Leader, you will play a critical role in this transformation, helping us build a high-performing, customer-focused project engineering delivery organization.
**Job Description**
+ Includes direct people management, staffing and performance development.
+ Promote a strong project culture: Establish a culture of ownership, accountability, and anticipation within the PEM organization.
+ Actively contribute to the transformation of the PEM organization toward a culture of project excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
+ Lead and develop the UK PEM team: Coach and support PEMs to grow their project leadership, technical understanding, and cross-functional collaboration.
+ Ensure projects objectives are met : Oversee project engineering performance (QCD, risks, KPIs) across its HVDC projects portfolio, ensuring consistency, application of GE processes and high standards.
+ Drive alignment across stakeholders: develop and foster collaboration between PEM organization, technical functions, and all teams involved in project delivery.
+ Support project reviews and escalations: Act as primary escalation point for engineering topics in project reviews. Ensure that critical issues are addressed and resolved.
+ Participate in strategic planning: Collaborate with Engineering Directors, Head of Functions, to improve project governance, processes, and capabilities.
+ Utilises knowledge of a technical discipline, technical experience and analytical thinking to execute policy strategy.
+ Serves as the technical leader to develop a scope of work and provide technical leadership and interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, GE Product Engineering, Sourcing, Engineering sub-contractors.
**Qualifications / Requirements:**
+ Engineering degree, Engineering School, University or equivalent knowledge / experience, ideally in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls engineering.
+ We welcome talent with experience from the industry and you will be outstanding if you are from the energy sector: Oil & Gas, Power Distribution, Power Transmission, Power Generation.
+ Strong experience in complex EPC projects and leading engineering disciplines, with significant experience of people leadership.
+ Passionate about developing teams and people, with an ability to drive large-scale, high-impact initiatives. Extensive focus on developing technical, project management and leadership competence in staff, ensuring comprehensive training and development plans are in place and enacted.
+ Proven ability to identify and resolve issues, and ability to work in English speaking environment.
+ Take a pro-active approach to ensuring Health & Safety is paramount, including conducting Risk Assessments where necessary.
+ Significant customer interface experience, ability to influence others and lead teams, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities
• Gather and document customer’s business and functional requirements
• Design and configure solutions that leverage the Idox EIM product portfolio based on customer business requirements
• Create and guide subsequent solution design documents
• Oversee the implementation of the solution design ensuring that the customer’s business problems are addressed
• Provide Installation and infrastructure support as required to the Infrastructure Specialist
• Advise and influence customers on business and solution issues during workshops
• Liaise between customers and Product Development teams to ensure all queries are handled appropriately
• Assist in creating and updating technical/user guides, knowledge bases, surveys and other communications
• Provide end user support and training of our products as required during project phases
• Develop and maintain good customer relationships, particularly with decision makers, influencers, and with key end-users
• Support Sales, as and when required, to assist in selling efforts
• Assist in the continuous improvement and maintenance of the Design and Delivery Methodology
• Adherence to Idox Information Security policies and protocols.
To be successful, you’ll need to bring:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience of one or more of the following: Content Management, Engineering Document Management, workflow or knowledge management
• Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and presentations
• Delivery of IT solutions encompassing infrastructure, packaged software, custom application development, business process improvement and culture change
• Strong technical background
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and works with little supervision
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Flexibility with time management, working hours, traveling, etc
Additional desirable qualities:
• Experience in document management
• Advanced functional understanding of EIM product portfolio, including DCTM thru current release and FileNet thru current release

**Stakeholder Engagement**
+ Act as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders regarding device management services.

+ **Be available outside standard business hours** as required, recognizing that this is not a strict 8-5 role.
**Who You Are**
**Qualifications**
+ **10+ years of experience in enterprise endpoint/device management** , with at least **5 years in a managerial or leadership role** .
+ Strong technical background in Microsoft Intune (Autopilot, compliance, Conditional Access, Defender integration) and macOS/JAMF (policy management, automation, Apple Business Manager integration).
+ Demonstrated experience managing **enterprise-scale environments (>10,000 endpoints)** .
+ Hands-on expertise in automation and diagnostics using **PowerShell** .
+ Experience leading **distributed/global technical teams** .
+ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
+ Ability to balance technical priorities, user needs, and cost management.
**Preferred Certifications**

- Oversee multiple projects, ensuring consistent quality and commercial alignment
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior-level clients, influencing key decisions
- Provide oversight and guidance to project managers and junior staff
- Lead client relationship management within the department
- Drive business development through market insights and proactive networking
- Represent the consultancy externally, enhancing reputation and visibility
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and workflows
- Use technology to deliver efficiency and better client outcomes
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Extensive experience managing large-scale project management contracts (traditional and design-and-build)
- Strong understanding of client needs in the commercial real estate and workplace strategy space
- Proven track record of winning work and developing client relationships
- Leadership experience with a collaborative and mentoring style
- Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen
- Experience with CRM systems and workflow optimisation

- This role is primarily office-based, with the option to work from home one day per week following onboarding.
