PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Global responsibility for digitalization for Care Enablement's product teams along the core value chain and entire product life cycle of R&D, Product Mgmt./Sustaining, Industrialization / Manufacturing and Technical Service. The responsibility includes implementation and rollout of systems / business capabilities consisting of modern processes, methods, data and (integrated) tool chain / technologies enabling FME to bring innovative therapy systems into the market. This role is responsible to drive and implement the topics of Digital (Systems) Engineering, PLM, ALM, Digital Twin / Digital Thread, Smart Connected Production and Digital Technical Service at FME in close collaboration with partners from operational units in CE and IT Solutions (former DTI) enabling FME's transition into IoMT. Directs and facilitates digital transformations programs falling into this area.
Responsible for defining and building Capabilities and Systems for Project-, Portfolio, Innovation- and Knowledge-Management with focus on the Product Lifecycle related Business Units.
Leads a dedicated Capability Architect Team that collaborates with business, analytical, and technical teams to implement capabilities (process, method & tool) supporting the creation, collection, utilization, tracking and management of information captured within the organizational management of and around the product lifecycle.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Drives innovation along product value chain by scouting, exploring new (engineering) methods and (digital) technologies as e.g. machine learning, analytics on product data, AR/VR, blockchain, product sustainability in terms of value and practical applicability for product teams; expand Digital Twin / Thread concept into advanced engineering capabilities as Model Based Systems Engineering
+ Responsibility for high operational availability and services for all tools and related (product) data in the entire PLM / engineering eco-system
+ Develop the right skillset for Product Development & Industrialization Systems team and program members and drive application of modern working techniques as e.g. DevOps, agile, design thinking, test automation in team operations that improve team internal efficiency and lead time for requests to solve.
+ Collaborates especially with Care Enablement Operational Systems to incorporate digitalization of project management, governance, planning and reporting
+ Sets strategy and provides oversight to the system and capability architecture including the underlying data models
+ Serves as chief application and data steward for organizational system needs and implementation.
+ Works with shared services, business partners, CoEs, as well with Operational Systems and the verticals towards a streamlines system structure.
+ Alignment of strategic direction with senior executive level, line managers, engineers from design, manufacturing and service as well as with major stakeholders / executives in IT Solutions (former DTI)
+ Responsibility on architecture and execution of overall PLM / engineering tool chain targeting end-to-end view, integrations, automation, effectiveness, efficiency, affordability, global availability and enhanced collaboration.
+ Responsibility for ensuring a validated and regulatory compliant PLM / engineering tool chain as well as safety, integrity, and compliance of regulatory / quality relevant product data by following QMS Computer System Validation activities
+ Responsibility for ensuring compliance of capabilities and tool chain with EU, US and other (inter)national regulation and laws (personal data protection, FDA part 11, etc)
+ Responsibility to manage relationships with key technology provider PTC and Siemens

EDUCATION:
University degree or higher in Engineering (system, mechanical / electrical / software), Business Strategy / Management, IT Management or combination of above
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
+ 15+ years of related experience in an international business environment
+ 10+ years of experience in a senior managerial role
+ 10+ years of experience in the context of R&D, product development, preferably in an R&D heavy industry like automotive, aerospace, high tech, industrial equipment or medical device / health care sector (or some other highly regulated business)

An exciting opportunity for a Project Engineering Manager has arisen within the RF Power division based in Chelmsford. You will be managing one of the RF Powers Project streams - Pulse Power, Tubes, Novel systems - MPMs/TWTA or Novel Systems - RFSS, ensuring that these complex engineering projects are delivered on time, on cost, and to quality expectations. These project streams include Multi-projects and encompass both customer facing projects and internal R&D projects.
What will you be doing:
+ Coordinating your engineering team, other departments and third parties / suppliers, for the successful execution of projects.
+ Ensuring that roles and tasks are clearly defined, understood and delivered.
+ Ensure that the Project activities are appropriately planned, costed and adequately resourced to achieve the programme in the most cost-effective manner.
+ Carry out regular and thorough reviews of the progress and delivery of the Projects assessing all aspects of the project, including time, cost, quality, and risks.
+ Managing changes, in project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, ensuring feasibility, and undertaking impact assessment, communicating, and seeking approval of changes.
+ Keeps project stakeholders informed of project progress, performance and manpower utilization with attention to achievements, progress, risk management and forecast.
+ Managing relationships with customers and other stakeholders, as required.
+ Ensuring projects are delivered in adherence with internal project management processes and procedures.
+ Ensure the Project team follows an effectively tailored Life Cycle Management Process,
+ Establish new or improve existing delivery methodology to deliver the programme goals. Embracing new concepts in programme and product delivery, driving the implementation of best practice and new techniques with the wider programme delivery organisation
+ Support Business Development in their roles of securing new business and setting strategy for the business.
+ Line management of multi-disciplined Engineering teams,
+ Manage resources appropriately. Hire the right people with the right attitudes and drive
+ Manage the performance of your team, drive high performance by setting stretching and challenging objectives. Continually review these and provide feedback on an on-going basis and agreeing specific training needs.
+ Ensuring resource availability and allocation, working with other Project Engineering Managers to deconflict and prioritise as necessary, to meet business needs.
+ Support the development of Te2v project management capability by supporting and coaching more junior members of the project delivery team
+ Take a leading role during the recruitment process and make final recruitment decisions
You will have
+ Extensive experience of managing engineering projects through all or part of the lifecycle from bid to production.
+ Demonstrable experience of energising teams to meet critical timescales and deliver projects.
+ Persuasive and clear communication skills across all levels of the business.
+ Strong problem solving capabilities.
+ Strong commercial awareness
+ Sound judgement - understanding when to own and brief and when to escalate.
+ Proficiency in the use and understanding of Project Management / resource tools such as MS Project and MS Project Server or other enterprise project management tool.
+ A working knowledge of SAP would be beneficial
+ Qualification in project management methodologies desirable.

**Job Description**
+ Responsible for issuing consolidation of provisional drawing list of the project or of your work package, integrating submission dates.
+ Manage global time schedule of concerned engineering activities, check coherency of links between engineering activities and other project functions activities (procurement, construction, commissioning) and organise follow up of critical activities of the project or of your discipline.

**What's the Role?**
A Senior Data Management Professional (DMP) is a key role within our organization responsible for providing domain expertise in both financial concepts and annotation program management, to the development of our AI products. These individuals act as proactive technical leaders by setting the framework in achieving quality and consistency in the evaluation and training datasets for models that power our AI-enhanced products, and delivering scalable governance in annotation program management across Bloomberg Data. Beyond governing data processes and being problem solvers, they are expected to transform the responsibilities of the team and scale the impact beyond what's possible today.
The role in the Data AI Annotation team covers all annotation program components in developing the evaluation and training of AI models at Bloomberg. Being responsible for the quality of the annotated data, and product quality will be a crucial part of the role, with key work spanning ownership around consensus management, adjudication, and instruction and task design. The team is a critical partner in ensuring the stability and growth of the company which relies on bringing new technology to customers with increased interests in Artificial Intelligence.
**We'll trust you to:**
+ Build strategies to analyze processes and data engineering questions to ensure our datasets are fit-for-purpose.
+ Safeguard the creation of high-quality training data for generative AI models in collaboration with the annotation project coordinator.
+ Collaborate on database schema design and configure ETL pipelines to onboard new data sets.
+ Leverage data annotation tools and platforms, including labeling software and data management systems to ensure quality.
+ Apply domain expertise to inform annotation decisions and ensure high-quality outputs.
+ Review and further improve annotation guidelines, and promote the development of standard processes in data annotation.
+ Rely upon data analysis skills to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and make informed decisions on annotation approaches.
+ Lead on problem-solving to resolve sophisticated annotation challenges and ensure data quality.
+ Stay up-to-date with industry trends and standard methodologies in data annotation and finance/news.
+ Be ready to take a hands-on role in project and product coordination when needed- with input from Technical specialist, Annotation manager and Senior annotators.
**You'll need to have:**

+ A bachelor's degree or above in Statistics, Data Analytics and Data Science or other STEM related fields.
+ A minimum of four years of demonstrable experience in data management concepts such as data engineering, data quality and data modeling.
+ Demonstrable experience in Data Profiling/Analysis/Engineering using tools such as SQL and Python or R.
+ Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense or Splunk.
+ Past projects that involved owning financial datasets, or other demonstrable work with financial-market concepts.
+ Proficiency in discussing technical concepts and experience evaluating trade-offs in design with Engineering and Product.
+ Extensive experience in communicating results in a clear, concise manner using data visualization tools.
+ Consistent track record in taking a logical approach and applying critical thinking skills in order to address problems.
**We'd Love to See:**
+ DAMA CDMP or DCAM certifications.
+ Keen interest and familiarity with generative AI frameworks.
+ Understanding of the importance of high quality annotations.
+ Experience in using Bloomberg Data, Bloomberg Terminal, and/or enterprise financial data products.
+ Interest in solving problems and developing data-driven methodologies for high precision & high recall anomaly detection.
+ Past project experience using the Agile/Scrum project management methodology.
