We are working with an education provider in the Greater Manchester area who are looking for an Electrical Engineering Lecturer to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis. They could also consider temporary contractor to offer some cover until the end of the academic year. The position would be 35 hours/4.5 days per week (with an early finish on Fridays).
All of the work will be based at the training provider's centre in Greater Manchester, where you would be asked to deliver training on the Electrical Engineering BTEC course (up to level 3). Delivery would be a mixture of classroom and workshop teaching. Classroom sessions would involve teaching on Electrical Principles and Electrical Panels & Enclosures, and then you would conduct workshop sessions to help the learners put what they have learned into practice.
The starting salary for this position is up to a maximum of £38,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), and the package would also include a stakeholder pension, and 32 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays such as Bank Holidays).
To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification
-A teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one)
-Industrial experience of Electrical Engineering
