The successful candidate will be able to apply a risk-focused maintenance approach and operations of plant and systems in data centres/critical environments. The position of the Data Centre Engineering Supervisor is key to the technical operations of the building and its infrastructure.
As the post holder, you will be expected to have a detailed understanding of the installed building services systems, contingency procedures and be proactive in passing on this knowledge to other members of the Site Personnel. The Data Centre Engineering Supervisor will also be expected to become familiar with aspects of the administrative and engineering operations within the contract.
In general, your role will be to ensure the efficient operation of the critical and noncritical engineering services, PC based systems and the associated plant. Achieving 100% availability.
Working closely with the Engineering team, the Data Centre Engineering Supervisor role will be to act as a technical coordination point for the day-to-day maintenance activities, including the Specialist Subcontractors, Suppliers and other support teams. One of the key activities involves the role of a HV authorised person.
You will be the technical reference point for the completion of the necessary permits to ensure compliance with method statements, risk assessments, Supplier Health and Safety procedures. You will ensure that the conduct of any personnel under your control is safe, professional, and conscientious. You will be required to attend site meetings with the client.
Further to this the Engineering Supervisor will be a key player in ensuring training requirements within the Data Centre are met and engineers are either trained or in training to ensure the highest engineering standards.
The Data Centre Engineering Supervisor with Support from the Campus Technical Manager will be responsible for ensuring all technical paperwork is created and approved to a high standard, this includes but is not limited to Safety Programs, Risk Assessments, Switching Schedules.
Key Responsibilities

The Role
As Engineering Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving Gulmay’s R&D and product development functions, working closely with Sales, Marketing and Operations to align engineering output with commercial goals.
You’ll manage a talented multi-disciplinary team covering electronics, embedded firmware and mechanical design, ensuring the delivery of innovative, high-quality products that meet the needs of the high-voltage industry.
Key Responsibilities of the Engineering Manager:
- Lead, motivate and develop a diverse UK engineering team across R&D and sustaining functions.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and scope.
- Review and approve product designs, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support new product introductions and continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction across engineering functions.
- Provide guidance, mentorship and direction to team members, supporting their professional development.
- Work with supply chain and external partners to support manufacturing and supplier relationships.
Key experience of the Engineering Manager:
- Proven experience leading and managing cross-functional engineering teams.
- Degree-qualified in a technical discipline (Electronics, Mechanical, or similar).
- Strong understanding of product development processes – from concept to production.
- Previous experience in high-voltage design or X-ray systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially aware, innovative, and capable of balancing multiple priorities effectively.

We are seeking an energetic and pragmatic Engineering (Change) Coordinator to serve as the operational bridge across our Mechanical, Robotics, Operations and Production Engineering teams. As Dexory enters a high-growth phase and scales up product commercialisation, this role will be crucial in ensuring communication, accountability, and real-time problem-solving. The right candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a proactive mindset and strong interpersonal skills. You will drive cross-functional coordination, issue resolution, and real-time communication.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate day-to-day coordination between Engineering teams (Electro-Mechanical, Robotics, Procurement, Production etc).
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Stores, and Services to track part availability, delivery schedules, and supply chain constraints.
- Monitor and collate product faults, changes, and feedback, ensuring they’re actioned and tracked (from engineering as well as service and installation teams).
- Drive urgency without bureaucracy; resolving issues quickly and practically.
- Process review and update - ensure you have a continuous way to simplify and streamline working processes.
- Facilitate daily or weekly sync-ups to unblock issues and increase momentum.
- Monitor Engineering Change Requests/ Internal Non Conformance Reports (ECRs/ INCR's) and ensure prioritization, progress, traceability and closure.
- Maintain records of issues, changes, and fixes with Engineering/Production traceability and feed this back into the engineering development process .
- Serve as the point of contact for Engineering updates flowing into operational teams.
- Ensure effective communication flow between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure tracking of timelines and ensure all stakeholders are informed of any risks early on.
- Escalate risks and delays proactively to relevant leads.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an engineering coordinator, change analyst, or similar role within a complex systems engineering, autonomous hardware or high end manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and people skills. Able to chase actions without creating friction.
- Familiarity with fast-moving electro-mechanical, robotics or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Highly organised, thrives under pressure and ambiguity.
- Tech-savvy with tools like Jira, Excel/Google Sheets, and basic data tracking.
- Skilled in bringing people together, gathering complex technical information and conflict resolution.
