As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work on a range of projects in the energy and renewable power sector, with a focus on providing Process Safety inputs as well as engineering delivery and management of tasks and deliverables. + Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering (or equivalent);
+ Considerable technical experience in power generation, industrial process, CCUS and/or future fuels projects, preferably within a consulting environment;

+ Understanding of process safety regulations including COMAH and ATEX regimes, ideally with knowledge of how these apply to Hydrogen and derivatives.

The Senior Engineer is responsible for running the site engineering team and ensuring the delivery of certain sections of the project. We are actively looking for colleagues with proven experience on multidisciplinary projects of between £5-£20million. Experience within infrastructure/Rail as well as an understanding of design and build environments is highly desirable.

- Support the Site Manager and deputise for short periods when the Site Manager is not available. The role is the first proper step towards a management role in construction. To move into this role the engineer must have experience of the following:-

Your main responsabilities will be :
- Client facing: Client relationship building throughout the sales and production process. This includes regular correspondence for claim-related information and liaising directly with government task authorities on their behalf.
- Subject matter expert: A technical understanding of your specialism, with working knowledge of consulting processes.
- Report and claim management: Support in creating structured claim reports, R&D project descriptions and justifications, and claims adjustments based on determined tax liability.
- Aware and informed: Well-versed in current affairs and innovative development across key global sectors.
- Consulting Experience: Minimum of 2 years consulting experience, preferably within the civil engineering industry.
- Strong Academic Foundation: A degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- Collaborative & Dependable: Works well in teams, aligns with client needs, and follows structured methodologies.
- Proactive Learner & Problem Solver: Demonstrates curiosity, critical thinking, and initiative in tackling challenges and learning about R&D tax.
