Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure projects from conception through to completion. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven working experience as a Project Manager in the civil engineering sector for at least 5 years.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage remote teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with contract negotiation and management.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with relevant UK building codes and regulations.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

**The Opportunity**
The Engineering Planner plays a critical role in driving efficient, effective, and compliant engineering activity across the site. The role is responsible for planning engineering and maintenance activities while ensuring the availability of resources, spares, and equipment. **The Role**
+ Ensure that maintenance tasks and inspections are executed as per specification and plan. This will include monitoring of CBRE staff and subcontractors whilst on site.
+ Raise notifications/quotes for emerging work resulting from planned maintenance works.
+ Scope all jobs and produce work packs including risk assessment/safe working procedure methods.
+ Undertake first line personnel management managing engineer's overall performance in respect to CBRE values and behaviors in line with the contractual SLAs. Ensuring the team is efficiently utilised and productivity of team is optimised.
+ Host technicians & operative's monthly meetings inclusive of toolbox talks & business updates.
+ Undertake site inspections and audits.
+ Ensure technicians & operatives training and performance appraisal is scheduled and completed within the correct time scales.
+ Utilise company IT systems including CAFM system.
+ Liaise with FM Helpdesk to coordinate & manage all client requests and meet SLA's
+ Manage life cycle report and critical spare list.
+ Provide reports and present all technical analytics and trends for CBRE internal and Client group.
+ Ad-hoc task as may be required from time to time.

The Engineering Planner is responsible for the creating, optimising and planning of preventative maintenance schedules, ensure all required parts are available for each maintenance activity, manage the lubrication standards and breakdown analysis reports and meet customer & organisation expectations. The Engineering Planner will be at the forefront of the Maximo CMMS for the Engineering department. The Engineering Planner will liaise and organise all external contractors for planned service and maintenance work for all departments within the Engineering Team. The Engineering Planner will work closely with the Controls Team to plan all calibration activities including the collecting and sending of items to external calibration testing providers. This role will be the forefront of SAP purchasing of parts and servicing contracts.
The position is primarily an office-based role, leading the high standard of preventative and corrective maintenance within the site Maintenance Team. The Engineering Planner will work hand in hand with the Maintenance Manager, Controls Manager, Facilities Manager, Manufacturing Shift Leads, Planners and Stores Team to communicate and organise maintenance activities. The Engineering Planner is to ensure that all maintenance compliance expectations are met in a timely manner.
This role is responsible to ensure coherence to business objectives within the department whilst ensuring that maintenance is fully functional and operating within all company and sector guidelines (validated states, like for like changes etc.)
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Works very closely with the Maintenance Manager to deliver all required KPIs.
+ Works collaboratively with Maintenance Manager, Manufacturing Shift Leads and Planners to prioritise and align labour to all PM and TPM tasks.
+ Works collaboratively with all Engineering Managers to support their calibration and CMMS requirements.
+ Ensures site assets are compliant through Safety & Quality standards and metrics.
+ Hands on role with direct leadership of maintenance technicians for the Deeside site, ensuring maximum visibility of team on shop floor providing strong service to our line-based teams.
+ Execute Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) driving down machine time loss supporting increased OEE year on year.
+ Drives maintenance compliance through safety & quality and drive team to real Root-Cause through effective analysis.
+ Prioritises data to communicate within the organisation - decisions based on actual figures rather than intuition or observation alone.
+ Lead the improvement and optimisation of all scheduled maintenance procedures
+ Implement predictive and preventative maintenance techniques and support Autonomous maintenance.
+ Manage planned maintenance execution and ensure 100% compliance
+ Works with other internal departments to prepare for operational readiness of new and modified installations to ensure safety, reliability, and maintainability of equipment.
+ Coordinate with other TPM stakeholders and sites to share practices and improve results
