Working as a Graduate in our Geotechnics & Tunnelling team will mean working on innovative projects, exploring and learning about the numerous facets of the requirements for Geotechnics & Engineering Geology, working on projects across a broad range of clients, sectors and scales.
**Projects**
Our Geotechnics team have played an important role in driving forward a range of significant initiatives, and you will be helping deliver projects such as:

+ Multiple windfarms & Energy hubs
+ HS2 N1/N2 and C2/C3 sections
+ Old Oak Common Station, Euston and Curzon Street Stations

**Our Geotechnics & Tunnelling Teams:**
Our geotechnical teams work in close collaboration with planners, and both structural and civil engineers. They are typically involved in all aspects of a project from early planning studies through to the construction phase, as well as in the inspection and rehabilitation of existing facilities. This approach provides continuity and allows for the inter-disciplinary collaboration that is essential to the successful delivery of complex projects.
You will be embedded in multidisciplinary teams and mentored by experienced Engineers, gaining exposure to real-word challenges and innovative solutions.
Day-to-day activities could include:
+ Taking responsibility for producing accurate ground models using an array of digital tools.
+ Learning about the various foundation and ground improvement techniques that are required for our clients to manage ground risk and realise safe and sustainable construction of their projects.
+ Manipulating and plotting data for site characterisation and witnessing ground investigation in the field, as well as design support.
+ Assisting in the design of foundations, retaining walls, slopes, and other geotechnical structures.
+ Report writing: Preparing geotechnical reports, risk assessments, drawings and design documentation.

The Planning discipline has 800+ consultants and engineers across the UK. Development accounts for 300 of this number located in 15 offices within the UK.
Specifically supporting the Development part, you will play a key role in the growth aspirations for Basingstoke and Southwest to South and Southeast region. This senior position will be very much centred on client facing activities, technical leadership and business growth, rather than day-to-day operational management and will play an integral part in supporting the initiative to diversify our team, both in staff numbers and revenue. You will be:

A bit about the team and what you’ll deliver
We are seeking a world-class SVP of Engineering to lead and strengthen the build, delivery and technical ownership of Trustonic’s Telecoms Platform. This is a mission-critical role, reporting directly to the CEO and working in close partnership with peers across Product and Operations.
You will be responsible for delivering a highly reliable, scalable, and secure platform (TP3) while embedding the engineering discipline, governance, and metrics required to support Trustonic’s next stage of growth. This role requires both strategic oversight and operational excellence, ensuring that Trustonic’s technology remains scalable, performant, reliable and aligned with product and customer priorities.
 
The SVP Engineering will bring structure, focus, and resilience to a team of c25 in-house engineers and c30 offshore developers with another 60-70 via offshore development partners. The role will provide oversight for key contributors (including the VP Product Development, Engineering Director-Americas and Director, Programme & Operations), instilling engineering best practices across the organisation.
 
As the SVP, Engineering you will:
 
Strategic ownership
- Own and evolve the engineering strategy in alignment with product, commercial, and business objectives.
- Guide long-term technology architecture and infrastructure planning for global scalability.
- Embed platform reliability, service quality, and performance metrics at the heart of engineering execution.
- Oversee a scalable, secure multi-tenant SaaS architecture on AWS; drive standards, patterns, and guardrails, including Android & applications

We are recruiting an Engineering Manager to lead technical operations across two high Profile sites — 4 days per week in South London and 1 day in Southwest / West London and Ideal candidates should be in commutable distant to both sites.
This role is suited ONLY to candidates coming from critical environments, such as data centres, banking, trading floors, or high-security mission critical 24/7 infrastructure.
