Copello have partnered with an established engineering manager based in Whiteley, in the recruitment of a Systems Engineering Manager.
The SEM is responsible for directing the systems engineering functions to deliver technically compliant solutions, facilitating the overall solution delivery on time/budget and to the required consistency and quality.
The SEM is accountable for co-ordinating, integrating and managing resources across the engineering functional disciplines, including Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), into a team effort, ensuring technical delivery in accordance with the business Systems Engineering Lifecycle on assigned Project/Task, on-time, to the required quality and within budget.
This requires the SEM to provide support to the Project Manager and delegated Design Authority to ensure the successful delivery and integration of the technical solutions.
Person Specification:
- The role will require significant stakeholder relationship skills in a co-working environment with partner organisations and suppliers.
- Strong customer focus and dedication to teamwork and exceptional standards of delivery.
- The ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner promoting the flow of information needed to be successful, building commitment and enthusiasm.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain complex matters to other technical and non-technical audiences in a compelling manner.
- The ability to work proactively, within a defined framework, with a minimum of direct supervision, highly motivated in the discharge of responsibilities and accountabilities.
