SSA are currently recruting for a Site Engineer to join a leading contractor within Civil Engineering & Utilities to work across their Southern Water framework, focussing on schemes including: microtunnelling, shaft sinking, mains replacement, flood defence, water treatment, pumping stations amongst others.

**Position summary:**
Based at our Horsham site this role supports production including serialization & commercial equipment and other areas of the business, such as the Warehouse, with equipment breakdowns and overtime. Working to minimize down time, in accordance with

**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:**
+ NVQ level 3, HND or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, 17th edition or 18th edition wiring regulations.
+ Proven ability to analyse complex technical issues to the fundamental level and propose practical solutions. As well as experience in driving continuous improvement and working within process industries.
+ Detailed knowledge & working application of Engineering Standards.
+ Knowledge and experience of utilising and implementing CI tools such as 5S, Kaizen, etc!
+ Please be aware some travelling maybe required.

Our Global ITSM Platform Team is looking for an experienced ServiceNow developer to take on a new role of ITSM Lead Engineer.
We’re looking for someone who’s worked in a multinational enterprise with at least 5 years experience of developing ServiceNow. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and evidence working with multiple diverse stakeholders in cross border virtual teams.
This is a hands-on role configuring the platform and its various modules. We integrate to multiple systems so a thorough understanding of Integration Hub, API and email integration is essential. Experience of Workday and JIRA integrations would be beneficial. Automation is key to our success in supporting business objectives so the role holder will have practical experience of implementing digital workflow to solve business problems.
The role holder will:
- Advise the ITSM Product Owner on the most effective, best practice use of ServiceNow and will be accountable for architectural decisions and coding standards.
- Lead and participate in the design, build/configure, testing/correcting and documentation of complex ServiceNow configurations and scripts from agreed specifications and subsequent iterations, using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result.
- Manage the planning, implementation and control of activities to integrate/build/maintain ServiceNow components, subsystems and interfaces to create operational ServiceNow products or services for delivery to customers, or for internal or interim purposes such as testing.
- Participate in reviews of their own work and lead reviews of colleagues' work.
- Plan, manage and execute platform updates and upgrades to keep our platform on the latest GA version.
- Provide technical support and coaching to the junior developers in the ITSM Platform Team and offshore partner developers
- Develop capabilities for systems integration and build including automation and continuous integration.
- The design, creation, testing and documenting of new and amended ServiceNow components from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed development and security standards and processes
- The incremental and logical integration and testing of ServiceNow components and/or subsystems and their interfaces in order to create operational services
