**Role Summary & Responsibilities:**
-Management of holiday, sickness cover requirements and HR issues including completion of appraisals of shift staff
-Work with management to ensure training plans are in place and implemented

-Carry out toolbox talks, workplace assessments and audits at required frequencies supporting TSM as required
-Adherence to CBRE GWS business processes and procedures with correct financial approvals.
-Ensure appropriate budgetary control is exercised on all CBRE spend (parts, tools, instruments, training, PPE)
-Provide a weekly performance report on workload status using maintenance management system (Real Suite)
-Submit monthly status to TSM as contribution to the client monthly report to include any problem areas I HSE issues I SLA highlights

A day in the life
Our RME Technicians are based on-site, so they can respond quickly to any machinery issues. You'll carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to our sites' equipment to make sure it's working safely. As an RME Technician, you'll also respond promptly to breakdowns, investigating, finding, and implementing solutions as quickly as possible. You'll also make suggestions for long-term improvements.
Working alongside senior colleagues, you'll undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks and will liaise with contractors if you need external expertise. You'll work on a range of shifts to make sure our sites are supported around the clock - allowing Amazon to deliver at the speed we're known for.

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering or RME team keep our equipment performing at its best. We're a technically minded team, made up of excellent team players and guided by experienced leaders. We work together to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment across our global network of fulfilment centers. Some of our people are leaders, who oversee the team as they work on exciting technology - some of which only exists at Amazon.
From installing automated packaging systems to overseeing the general maintenance of a site to repairing key distribution equipment, our team handles most aspects of Amazon's technical side. This includes keeping buildings legally compliant, so everyone is safe, and our sites are operating at maximum efficiency. There are lots of opportunities for progression, both within the RME team and more widely across Amazon.
Everything we do focuses on reducing downtime in Amazon's crucial operations sites, so customers get their orders on time. We often work during early or late hours to carry out maintenance with minimal disruption, including night shifts. Basic Qualifications
- Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject

- Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
- Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
- Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance

About the role

To lead, mentor, and manage CAD Technicians and Junior Technicians in delivering high-quality, sustainable digital and CAD solutions across civil engineering projects. The role ensures technical excellence, compliance with quality standards, and supports the development of the UK practice.

Key Responsibilities;

Leadership & Team Development

• Motivate and guide Technicians/Junior Technicians to deliver sustainable CAD and digital solutions ethically and proactively.

·Review the initial draft question paper(s) and mark scheme(s). Check that the nature and range of responses required by the mark scheme are appropriate.
·Comment on individual questions and responses and the draft question paper(s) as a whole.
·Provide constructive feedback to writer in the required format and suggest alternatives where appropriate.
·Complete a full report concerning each question paper and submit it to the Content Production Manager (CPM) before the Question Paper Evaluation Committee (QPEC) meeting is due to be held. 
·Attend the review meeting/Question Paper Evaluation Committee (QPEC) meeting and therefore contribute to the production of the final draft paper(s) which will be sent to be typeset.

·Substantial subject knowledge and expertise within the sector
**Competencies required**
·An understanding of the educational landscape and regulatory requirements for qualifications
·Knowledge of the specifications that comprise the area of expertise for the role
·Ability to edit materials to ensure they are grammatically correct and fit for purpose
·Excellent communication, written, verbal, IT and interpersonal skills

·Experience in delivering and assessing vocational qualifications
·Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in the field of assessment of vocational qualifications.
