Key Responsibilities
As Environmental Advisor, you will:
Support the delivery of environmental objectives in line with project requirements and company policies.
Drive continuous improvement in environmental performance on active sites.
Keep up to date with environmental legislation and share best practice with colleagues and partners.
Assist in preparing and reviewing key environmental documents such as Environmental Management Plans, Waste Management Plans, and Dewatering Plans.
Help develop communication and briefing strategies so that environmental standards are clearly understood by employees and subcontractors.
Monitor compliance with environmental requirements, technical standards, and project-specific information.
Contribute to environmental and sustainability reporting for senior management.
Support site audits, inspections, investigations, and incident reviews.
Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in environmental performance.
Help maintain accurate measurement and reporting systems (e.g. SmartWaste or equivalent).
Deliver toolbox talks, training sessions, and awareness briefings to promote environmental engagement across the workforce.
Candidate

Be able to display previous experience in a similar role
An Environmental degree or similar
- Driver Licence
- CSCS Card
Desirable Extras
Membership of a professional body (e.g. IEMA or similar).
Knowledge of environmental and health & safety legislation.
