A new vacancy for an Environmental Product Compliance Engineer (Air-Conditioning/Chillers) with global manufacturer wide range of high-efficiency heating & cooling products for customers in international built environment/construction markets. Based at the company's UK offices in west London, the Environmental Product Compliance Engineer (Air-Conditioning/Chillers) will investigate how the company can design, develop and launch its products in Europe in line with EU/UK regulatory requirements. The job holder will be working alongside an experienced product compliance engineer and will receive ongoing training and support.
Main responsibilities:
- To research UK and EU Environmental Legislation (Regulations / Directives / Standards) and report to the relevant internal departments in respect to product development schedules;
- Engage with HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration) Industry Associations, to cooperate with the other stakeholders in order to get the latest information and support the business activities for Environmental Legislation compliance;
- To exchange information with all the company's Distributors regarding the implementation of specific National Environmental Legislation and report to the relevant internal departments;
- To support all the company's Distributors in terms of technical specifications.
Key candidate requirements :
- HVACR background with good basic understanding of the Environmental Legislation process;
- Good capacity to summarise and report the main relevant points affecting the business on lobbying activities and discussions within Associations;
- Good understanding of the technical language used in Regulations & Directives, with the capacity to translate into an easy to understand language when reporting;
- Good capacity to interact with Competitors within the Trade Bodies & Associations;
- Fluency in a second EU language would be an advantage, although isn't essential;
- Very precise and attentive to details (in order to manage FGas Portals and Databases).

We are seeking to grow our world class team to ensure we continue to deliver the high calibre of service and technical excellence both we and our clients expect. We are involved in many key projects of regional and national significance, which we deliver alongside our core UK and global framework projects.
With a strong pipeline of confirmed work moving into 2026, we have an opportunity for several Site Engineers (Geo-environmental) to join our team. This role is specifically to support large scale ground investigations and will require a large proportion of working on site and travelling within the UK. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of projects, working closely with and being supported by team members, project managers and project directors. Activities will typically include groundwater monitoring and supervision of contractors (e.g. drill rigs).
The role will be predominately site based. Site works are dependent on active projects with travel to and working on sites across the whole of the UK.
**Your Team**
The post will be within our Ground & Water team which is a service line in WSP's Earth & Environment business.
Our team of over 180 professionals at all grades provides land contamination management services to private and public sector clients in the property, government agency, industrial, defence and nuclear sectors. We have expertise across all aspects of contaminated land meaning we have the means to support and develop career development. We have several exciting projects in the pipeline including supporting with the energy transition, infrastructure and nuclear decommissioning.
**The Key Responsibilities**
+ Completion of groundwater monitoring.
+ Supervision of site investigations.
+ Supervision of field work including soil logging and environmental sampling, chemical and geotechnical testing, groundwater sampling and ground gas monitoring.
+ Data collation.
+ Ensuring that all work is delivered in line with procedures and to the highest safety, health and environmental standards
**Experience**
+ Knowledge of the requirements for planning, and supervision of site investigations
+ Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations and their application to safe design and implementation of site investigations
+ Data handling, including experience in the use of GIS is desirable

+ Has a full UK driving licence (or equivalent) - this is essential to the role
