WHAT YOU NEED to Have
- Doctorate PhD or equivalent advanced degree in the subject area
- Published at least 3 paper in SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI journals in the past two years
- Published at least 12 papers in SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI journals in the past ten years
- Thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the relevant discipline
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong written communication skills , with the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity
- Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable

The Environmental Services group is responsible for the full life cycle of infrastructure development, from permitting new projects, to the remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater. They support a variety of clients including those in the transportation, manufacturing, industrial, oil and gas, chemical and utility spaces. - Leading and managing soil and groundwater investigations, including intrusive site sampling and characterization.

Qualifications:
- A Master's degree or PhD in Soil Science, Environmental Science, Geology, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in contaminated land assessment and remediation.
- Strong knowledge of soil chemistry, geochemistry, contaminant hydrogeology, and environmental fate and transport processes.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing various remediation technologies.
- Proficiency in using GIS and groundwater modeling software is an advantage.
- Excellent understanding of UK environmental regulations and guidelines related to land contamination.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
- Full UK driving license is required.
