Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed sustainability analysis on funds using the firm’s proprietary ESG methodology.
- Prepare client reports and deliver insights on ESG risks and opportunities.
- Contribute to enhancing ESG rating capabilities by testing and proposing improvements.
- Write articles and reports on ESG-related topics for media and clients.
- Coordinate with IT and development teams to ensure smooth data exchange and system improvements.
- Manage relationships with Asset Managers to monitor the sustainable funds market and conduct due diligence.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong understanding of ESG concepts and sustainable finance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

We are looking for a talented Financial Analysis Manager to join our team specializing in Finance and Costing for Cummins in Daventry, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom.
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:**
+ Lead the Costing and PFR team, setting clear goals and expectations for deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
+ Drive the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) submission and quarterly forecasts for key financial areas such as volumes, standard hours, managed expenses, purchase variances, inventory, variance analysis, and bridge preparation.
+ Conduct variance analysis for actuals vs. AOP/forecasts, including headcount, project expenses, wave savings, purchase variances, and inventory, providing financial insights and support to various stakeholders.
+ Oversee the annual standard cost-setting exercise, preparing detailed analyses of material cost and overhead changes to ensure accurate and well-supported standard cost updates.
+ Lead the Annual Physical Verification Exercise as the primary finance contact, managing planning, execution, and variance analysis to ensure high accuracy and compliance.
+ Support the financial closing process by ensuring accuracy in inventory valuation (including excess & obsolete stock), material cost reporting, and substantiation of high-quality balance sheet reconciliations.
+ Review and adjust tax forecasts, balance sheets, and cash flow hedge reports, ensuring alignment with changing financial forecasts and business strategies.
+ Coach and develop PFR & Inventory team members, fostering their professional growth, building technical capabilities, and creating a clear succession roadmap.

The Role
As our ESG Consultant, you will manage a portfolio of clients, guiding them through the ESG process and supporting them to achieve compliance and certification.
You’ll also contribute to the ongoing development of our sustainability services, ensuring DEKRA remains at the forefront of ESG delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
• Acting as a subject matter expert for all aspects of ESG.
• Supporting clients through the ESG process to compliance/certification.
• Identifying opportunities to improve and expand our sustainability service offerings.
• Advising clients on EcoVadis improvement programmes and implementing sustainable changes.
• Supporting supplier chain risk management (SCRM) assessments where needed.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
• A degree in sustainability, environmental science, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years’ commercial or customer-facing experience in sustainability, environmental management, or ESG.
• Strong working knowledge of ESG frameworks, legislation, and industry best practice.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise, influence, and build client relationships.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable experience includes:
• Consultancy or auditing background.
• Experience with EcoVadis or similar sustainability assessment platforms.
