Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for carrying out pre delivery inspection checks including: Removal or manufacturing vehicle packaging, installation of transmit protections, fluid level checks, function checks, check for any spare items required, Drying and adding model specification protections.
- Responsible for performing appropriate testing on vehicles including: Checking they meet interior specification, check and on-board computer and electrical accessories, testing all light and safety features.
- Responsible for performing inspections and quality checks including: Inspecting the exterior of the vehicle for damage, check the interior, check spare wheel and jack.
- Report any damage and discrepancies to the management team.
- Completing all relevant paperwork
- To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
- To maintain ISO 9002 procedure at all times.

The primary function of this role operates outdoors in a large automotive compound facility. Its associated duties are conducted in varying weather conditions throughout the year (PPE is provided to support such tasks). As you will be expected to store and transport vehicles in an outdoor logistics facility which also involves moderate amounts of general walking throughout the working day.

- Undertake driving tasks, appropriate to licences held.
- Work as member of the team and support other trades when necessary.
- Aircraft Refuel and Aircraft towing tractors - including Land Rovers, MAN SV.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Engineering experience (REME Class 2, NVQ Level 3 or Civilian) or Equivalent (City & Guilds).
- Experience with aircraft refuelling/Oshkosh and other military vehicles with knowledge and understanding of MoD working environment, practices and procedures including JAMES system would be beneficially to this role.
- CAT B licence
- Cat C+E Licence or willing to be trained
- ADR qualification or willing to be trained
