We are currently recruiting Sports Coaches and Cover Supervisors to work in a range of secondary schools across Sheffield on a supply basis – covering ad hoc, short-term, and long-term roles.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom and take charge of pre-set lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.

You’ll be responsible for managing classroom behaviour, keeping students engaged, and ensuring the smooth delivery of lessons across various subjects (no teaching qualification required).

If you’re a Sports Coach, your experience in leadership, behaviour management, and motivation makes you a great fit for this kind of role – especially in PE lessons or active classroom environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons and supervising students in the teacher’s absence
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies
