Duties:

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Executive Support Manager to lead a first-class executive office and provide high-impact support to the Executive Director of Environment & Communities and their Departmental Management Team (DMT). This strategic role blends executive assistance, people leadership, governance coordination, and project delivery to enable the Directorate to perform at its best.
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as Executive Assistant to the Executive Director, managing a smooth-running and responsive executive office.
Draft and quality-assure high-level correspondence, briefings, reports, and presentations for senior officers, Members, and stakeholders.
Manage diary commitments, ensure timely responses to urgent matters, and maintain oversight of key Directorate priorities.
Line manage a network of Personal Assistants (PAs) supporting three Directors and three Heads of Service.
