Job Description
We are looking for a Head Cook with a Kitchen Manager mindset on a full-time permanent basis working alternate weekends and no evening shifts.
You will be cooking for the service users in a beautiful Nursing Home based near to Kings Norton.
You will lead the Kitchen and have one direct report, you will be responsible for the daily running's of the Kitchen
Responsibilities
To ensure that all food is of the highest quality
To provide ethnically appropriate meals to service users
Ensure statutory records are maintained within the kitchen environment
Ensure that the preparation, cooking and serving of food is at the highest standard
Keep within budgets
Creating menus with fresh produce
Preparing Breakfast, lunch, Dinner and snacks
Ensuring Hygiene standards are always 100%
Supporting 1 other chef
Due to the location, own transport is required
Working Hours
35 hours per week
7AM - 2PM
Alternate weekends
Pay
13.90 Per Hour Weekdays
14.50 Per Hour Weekends
