About the New Business & Marketing team

Our team sits as a central core function within the business, working across all specialisms and departments, giving you full exposure to all aspects of the business.
About your role
We are looking for an ambitious and organised individual who is articulate,
curious, proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment across a range of projects.
Whilst the successful candidate needs to be a natural self-starter, it is also important that the candidate can work as part of a team at a senior level across a range of disciplines.
Key responsibilities
Helping to win new clients
- Pull together in-depth research of potential new clients - their market, competitors, news - for pitching teams across the agency
- Support the Heads of New Business / New Business Directors and senior leaders on end-to-end pitching, working collaboratively with a huge range of people / teams across the business, including:
- Supporting on the creation of compelling RFI / RFP responses
- Creating and managing creds decks for new business opportunities and meetings
- Managing all prep and set up for pitches, including room dressing, rehearsals, printing, studio jobs and coordinating pitch theatre requests
- Ability to identify the right case studies for new business meetings, and helping to look out for our winning strategy or ‘achilles heel’
- Support in coordinating and preparing for new business meetings and events to support the team
Fountain of all knowledge
- Ownership and management of the New Business Drive, pitch assistance and other pitch related documents, keeping them up to date and organised at all times
- Consistent awareness of agency news, work and policies that can be translated into written documents and presentations
- Continual competitor analysis of other agencies across all disciplines
- Consistent awareness of wider industry news and trends that could impact both our pitches and our general day to day business
- Oversight of VCCP subscriptions: ensuring we have the best research tools and resources available to the team
- Proactiveness in identifying operational efficiencies, driving best practice across the team and facilitating knowledge sharing
- Ability to use, manage and interpret new business data and reporting systems to give regular updates and assist with creating presentations on behalf of senior management
- Be a brand guardian for VCCP and the wider team
Making VCCP and our work famous
- Support in identifying/managing relevant new business related award submissions, including agency awards and sector awards for client work
- Ownership of our creds and case studies across all offices and disciplines, working closely with account teams to ensure case studies are up to date
- Support in producing agency showreels to showcase best and latest work to our clients
- Be responsible for our work and profile on our channels
- Support in updating external intermediary profiles, ensuring we are represented across the industry in the best possible way
- Ownership of how we and our work show up across the agency - making sure our latest work is showcased across the agency (meeting room boards/showreels etc.)
