ALL.SPACE is seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager – Satellite Operators to lead engagement and growth across the defence divisions of leading satellite operators, including SES Space & Defense, Telesat Government Solutions, Viasat/Inmarsat Government, Amazon Kuiper Defense, and Avanti Government.

This role will focus on driving the productisation and integration of ALL.SPACE’s multi-orbit intelligent terminals within operator defence portfolios, ensuring the technology becomes a core element of their managed service offerings and programme solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping strategic partnerships, securing technical and commercial adoption, and aligning joint initiatives that support resilient, secure, and interoperable SATCOM capabilities for allied defence and government customers globally.

1. Defence Business Development and Growth

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand ALL.SPACE’s role within the defence business units of global satellite operators.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to embed and productise ALL.SPACE terminals within operator service portfolios, platforms, and network architectures.
  • Lead joint go-to-market initiatives that position ALL.SPACE as a strategic enabler of multi-orbit, resilient SATCOM for defence customers.
  • Achieve annual growth, pipeline and partnership KPIs across assigned operator accounts.

2. Strategic Partnership Management

  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key operator stakeholders — including defence division heads, programme managers, product strategists and engineering directors.
  • Negotiate partnership frameworks, reseller models and technical collaboration agreements that support long-term integration of ALL.SPACE technology.
  • Represent ALL.SPACE at major defence and SATCOM industry events, including Global MilSatCom, World Space Business Week, DSEI, and SATELLITE.

3. Productisation and Solution Integration

  • Drive the productisation of ALL.SPACE terminals into operator defence offerings — ensuring inclusion in catalogues, proposal templates, and service packages.
  • Collaborate with operator product and engineering teams to certify and integrate ALL.SPACE technology into managed network architectures and end-to-end defence solutions.
  • Support joint demonstrations, validation trials and technical roadmaps highlighting ALL.SPACE’s interoperability across GEO, MEO, HEO and LEO constellations.
  • Influence operator portfolio development to incorporate ALL.SPACE’s multi-orbit capabilities as a differentiator in bids to defence and government customers.

4. Capture and Proposal Support

  • Engage proactively in operator-led capture and bid efforts, ensuring ALL.SPACE solutions are positioned effectively within proposals and frameworks.
  • Coordinate internal technical and commercial inputs to support partner proposal submissions.
  • Align engagement activities with operator acquisition cycles, government tenders and funding streams.

5. Market Intelligence and Strategic Positioning

  • Monitor defence market dynamics, satellite operator strategies, and upcoming multi-orbit programme requirements.
  • Deliver regular intelligence reports and insights to inform ALL.SPACE’s product strategy, pricing, and investment priorities.
  • Identify areas for co-innovation or joint R&D to align ALL.SPACE solutions with operator and government capability roadmaps.

6. Compliance and Governance

  • Support onboarding, security accreditation, and supplier qualification processes across operator defence partners. ·
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, and reporting on partner performance and opportunity progression

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in defence, satellite communications, or aerospace business development.
  • Proven track record working with or within satellite operators’ defence divisions or government SATCOM providers. ·
  • Strong understanding of multi-orbit SATCOM architectures, network integration, and terminal certification.
  • Experience driving productisation or technology integration partnerships in a complex defence ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of defence acquisition frameworks, contracting models, and procurement processes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.

Preferred additional skills:

  • Established network within satellite operator defence programs and allied government customers.
  • Experience supporting initiatives in resilient SATCOM, JADC2, or multi-domain operations.
  • Eligible for security clearance (UK/US/Allied).
  • Willingness to travel internationally for defence and partner engagements.
