The Role:
To help continue to grow our activity in the UK, ChargeGuru are looking for a versatile Technical Project Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit, to initiate and assist the technical and operational capability of the UK team. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, ChargeGuru UK, you’ll also work closely with the wider Operations and Sales teams and will have direct interaction with our international Global Design team, when necessary.
What you’ll do:
As a Technical Project Manager, you’ll be designing and project managing Commercial installations and assisting with the design and project management of AC and DC chargers for our business customers. You will:
- Become an expert in our best-in-class software tools, driving the optimisation of the operational processes & project management capabilities for the UK market.
- Build relationships of trust and provide support to our network of installation partners.
- Attend site on occasion, for the purpose of overseeing installations and providing technical advice to partner installers.
- Take part in cross-functional and international projects in order to grow the ChargeGuru business in the UK and other European markets.
- Pre-sales requirements: study of available power, design & production of technical and economic proposals, provision of site-specific RAMs, briefing of installation partners.
- Post-sales requirements: management of purchases and supply of equipment, support for installation partners, monitoring of each project, management of interactions with customers.
What you’ll need:
Essential:
- A Degree-level qualification in a relevant degree, preferably Electrical Engineering. This may be replaced or supplemented by equivalent and relevant experience and qualifications.
- At least 1 years experience in project management.
- To be IT literate, with experience using various business platforms.
- To be fluent in spoken and written English.
- To be able to commute into a central London office 3 days a week.
- A willingness and desire to learn about electrical design and installations.
Preferable:
- 1 years experience in project management, specifically related to EV charging installations.
- Working knowledge of BS 7671 (18th edition - IET Wiring Regulations), Guidance Notes, CoP’s and all Relevant British Standards.
