MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES


High-level IT strategy definition based on business strategy inputs (technology & operations)

Technology strategy definition across DC, cloud, EUC and networking

Operational strategy definition based on customer’s tech footprint (think team structures, reporting, responsibilities, …)

Technology dependency guidance across large programs, ensuring multiple projects link-in project wise as well as technically (working alongside a program manager)

Scope definition based on business requirements (new DCs, cloud migrations, XaaS migrations, M&A, divestments, .)

High-level effort scoping and timelines definition as well as role requirements for the points above

Presentation in front of larger audiences

Research and development of new customer facing propositions

Performing fractional technical CxO roles for customers

Salary £30,000 OTE £48,000

The impact you'll have:

We’re currently looking for passionate Business Development Managers to join our exciting Sales Team at our head office in Manchester, where you’ll be championing a true mix of client relationship management and new business sales.

This role will be an account managment lead role, seeking new business opportunities within the client base. 

A typical day:

  • Proactively reach out to customers through outbound calls daily to foster relationships and drive sales growth.
  • li>Building relationships with lapsed customers, low spenders, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
  • Working with the Customer Excellence Team to ensure smooth handover, conversion and ensure transactions are efficiently completed.
  • Effectively cross-sell, upsell and maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services, introducing customers to new and innovative products and educating them about the full product and service offer across our divisions.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPI’s such as revenue, call volumes and quality, talk time and orders raised.

What you'll bring:

    < i>Proven track record in sales or business development, with a demonstrable ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • A resilient and proactive mindset with a dynamic and dedicated attitude.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Prior experience in outbound calling or customer contact roles is desirable.
