CNC Recruitment are currently seeking Paint Line Operatives to join our client in Bridport, a well-known sheet fabrication company. The ideal candidates will be semi-skilled, with previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred but not essential
Location: Bridport, Dorset
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
Contract: Temp - Perm
Role Allocation:
2x candidates – Day Shift – 8am – 5pm
1x candidates – Night Shift – 6pm – 6am – pay TBC
Key Duties:
Organising and preparing items for the paint line
Hanging items on the paint line ready for painting
Removing painted items from the line and sorting them accordingly
Cleaning and preparing items before they are painted
Handling and moving paint and materials as required (occasionally handling boxes of up to 20kg)
Requirements
Good level of physical fitness – the role involves regular movement and manual handling
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and ability to follow processes
A proactive and reliable attitude
Previous experience in a similar role or production environment is desirable but not essential

The Role - Print Production Assistant
We're looking for a proactive Print Production Assistant to join our team in Buxton. In this hands-on role, you'll work alongside the Lead Printer to operate flexographic print machinery, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
You'll play a key part in maximising press uptime, maintaining quality control, and driving operational improvements within a fast-paced 24/7 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Printer in setting up and operating flexographic print machinery safely and efficiently
- Maintain excellent standards of health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing techniques such as 5S and SMED
- Manage press consumables and materials, including inks and reels
- Operate the press independently during breaks or absence of the Lead Printer
- Identify and report equipment or quality issues, assisting in problem resolution
- Support with colleague training and development where required
- Ensure smooth and accurate shift handovers
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Collaborate with Ink Technicians, Mounters, and wider production teams to ensure seamless workflow
- Provide flexibility by supporting other production areas, including conversion and slitting machinery
About You
You'll be a team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for quality. Ideally, you'll bring:
- Part or fully trained Printer status (flexographic experience preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Print (advantageous)
- Experience with solvent-based inks and flexographic printing processes
- Manufacturing background - preferably in labels or packaging
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methods
- Strong understanding of quality, safety, and environmental standards
- Good literacy and numeracy (GCSE English and Maths desirable)
- Additional certifications (e.g. Fire Safety, First Aid) would be an asset

Tilly Sveaas is a fast-growing jewellery brand based in Chelsea, looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to play a key role in keeping our business running and growing smoothly.
The Role
Working directly for our Operations Director and closely with other members of the team, you’ll compile regular trading and operations reports; consider forecasting, ordering, and stock keeping to manage stock coverage; and organise freight and logistics. We are a small team of 10 and this is a collaborative role that will give you experience and insight into our whole business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to grow with a scaling ecommerce brand.

Key Responsibilities
Merchandise and Stock Operations
- Generate weekly and monthly stock, merchandise and sales reports
- Generate weekly and monthly operations reports including returns, refunds, logistics and customer service
- Use insight to feed into order forecasts and on-site merchandising
- Manage uploads and pricing changes for our ecommerce customers on-site and for our wholesale customers in price lists
- Regular stock takes of products and packaging including updates on WooCommerce, Unleashed and Xero
- Raise, update and process purchase orders, manufacturing assemblies and inventory receipts
- Ensure order confirmations, invoices and packing lists are stored and organised
- Maintain up-to-date database of product costings and supplier options
- Cost new parts and products for launches
- Create parts and Bill of Materials in Unleashed
- Liaise with our packaging suppliers, ensuring orders are placed and delivered on time
- Manage logistics providers including selecting the most efficient shipping methods and monitoring transit schedules, and first line support for our logistics providers
Company Operations
- Assist finance in month end queries on stock, invoicing and purchase orders
- Assist colleagues in preparing for key event
About You
- 1–2 years in an operations, supply chain, or finance-support role (eCommerce experience preferred).
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent, clear, verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and pragmatic approach to work - ability to autonomously solve problems.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Strong competency with Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong technical skills - WooCommerce, Unleashed and Xero preferred (training will be provided but familiarity with eCommerce platforms/ERPs is essential).
