We’re looking for a skilled mechanical or electrical engineer  in the London area  who’s confident with fault finding repairs , and field-based servicing . HTM or UKAS testing experience is a bonus — but not essential. We’ll train you.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical/electrical repairs on autoclaves and washer-disinfectors
  • Perform preventive maintenance and equipment validations
  • Work on NHS and laboratory sites in line with UK compliance standards
  • Train towards HTM 01-01 / HTM 01-05 and UKAS protocols
  • Receive OEM-specific training (e.g. Steelco systems)
  • Document all work in accordance with Sychem SOPs

What You Bring

  • A background in mechanical electrical , or electromechanical  engineering
  • Ability to read P&ID’s and electrical schematics
  • Confident in fault finding component-level diagnosis , and hands-on repair
  • Experience working in field service plant maintenance medical devices , or industrial machinery
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight
