About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Independent Financial Adviser to provide impartial financial advice and planning services. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, helping them to achieve their financial goals by recommending suitable products and strategies from the whole of the market.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to build long-term client relationships based on trust, transparency, and results.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to assess their financial circumstances, objectives, and risk tolerance.
 - Develop personalised financial plans covering areas such as investments, pensions, insurance, tax planning, and estate planning.
 - Present recommendations in a clear, compliant, and client-friendly manner.
 - Keep up to date with financial regulations, legislation, and market trends.
 - Maintain accurate, compliant records of advice given and client interactions.
 - Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing reviews and adjustments to their plans as circumstances change.
 - Network and develop new business opportunities through referrals, events, and marketing initiatives.
 
Skills & Qualifications
- As a minimum Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent qualification). Ideally Chartered or working towards Chartered.
 - Robust experience in a FCA certified, client facing role.
 - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
 - Strong ethical standards and commitment to delivering unbiased advice.
 - Experience with cashflow modelling tools.
 - Business development and networking skills.

An international law firm is looking for a Senior Financial Crime Advisor to join their Risk & Compliance team in their London offices.
The ideal candidate for the Senior Financial Crime Advisor position will have experience working within a second line of defense compliance function. Candidates with only first line experience will not be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Financial Crime Advisor role:- Act as a first point of contact for financial crime-related queries across the firm.
 - Provide advice and support on new client and new matter intake processes.
 - Review and analyse complex AML and sanctions matters, providing expert advice to the business with support from senior members of the team.
 - Contribute to the development and enhancement of risk and control frameworks, policies, procedures, and training materials.
 - Assist in preparing responses to internal audit findings and regulatory inspections, including conducting ad hoc file reviews and monitoring process improvements.
 - Support the completion of regulatory filings and submissions.
 
- Proven experience working within a second line Financial Crime/Compliance function, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
 - Strong understanding of AML, sanctions, and wider financial crime legislation and best practice.
 - Knowledge of sanctions regimes, PEPs, and other high-risk categories.
