- Collaborate with legal, actuarial, underwriting, and marketing teams to ensure the viability and effective launch of new products.
- Review and update existing policy wordings and documentation to reflect changes in legislation, market conditions, or company strategy.
- Develop clear, concise, and customer-friendly policy documentation and supporting materials.
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed policy changes or new product introductions.
- Provide expert guidance and support to internal stakeholders on policy interpretation and application.
- Monitor the performance of existing insurance products and recommend adjustments or enhancements as necessary.
- Stay abreast of emerging risks and market developments to proactively address potential gaps in coverage.
- Contribute to the development and execution of product launch strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Law, Business, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., ACII) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in insurance product development, underwriting, or a closely related field.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance principles, policy structures, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCA, PRA).
- Proven ability to conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting precise and unambiguous policy language.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
