Excellent opportunity for a Financial Data Analyst to join a rapidly growing business in West London, where you will play a key role from day one within the key data and financial elements of the business.

This company deals with a high volume of PPI and compensation claims, being able to provide results for clients that most claims companies struggle to achieve. They are a very exciting, dynamic and growing business and now require a Financial Data Analyst to help them achieve their desired results and expansion plans.

In this role, you will be working with the project manager and using your data knowledge to provide presentations, work with cash flows, data modelling and provide feedback on where the company can improve their efficiencies. You will use tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python as well as Tableau to complete your tasks. Advanced knowledge of Excel is also essential for the right candidate to be considered.

The ideal candidate will be a strong and experienced Data Analyst with a degree in a relevant field. Experience using Power BI, SQL and Python is required. You will also need to have experience and skills in presentations, cash flows and data modelling.

This is an exciting role where you will have the opportunity to work within a company at the beginning of their planned expansion, allowing for future progression for the right candidate.

Role Overview

This position will play a pivotal role in transforming how finance data is managed, visualised, and utilised across the organisation. The successful candidate will spearhead the development and implementation of advanced reporting solutions, including the use of Power BI and related tools, to enable data-driven decision-making and enhance finance user capability.

You’ll work closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to standardise reporting, optimise processes, and ensure the highest standards of data quality and governance. This is a highly collaborative role requiring technical expertise and strong stakeholder engagement skills to drive meaningful insights that support strategic and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the transition of existing finance reports into Power BI, ensuring consistency, usability, and alignment with best practices.
  • Partner with senior finance stakeholders to prioritise reporting needs and champion a “data-first” approach across the function.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Finance and the Data & Analytics team, providing subject matter expertise on reporting, data modelling, and visualisation.
  • Support and grow the internal network of Power BI champions, ensuring capability development through training and mentoring.
  • Define and maintain standards for reporting outputs, documentation, and data governance processes.
