Eden Brown Synergy are working with an organisation based in Stoke Gifford in Bristol who are looking for a number of Data Verifiers to work in their Funding Project team.

The roles are full time (37 hours per week), to start in November 2025 and will run for 3 months initially.

The roles are paying 16.58 PAYE per hour + holiday pay.

The organisation offers hybrid working. At least two days a week in the office following training and after that they would be willing to consider fully remote working for the right candidate.

The roles:

The roles contribute to the data verification project in the Funding Round team (no prior knowledge of the data is required, as training and guidance will be provided). This involves considering data submitted for this year, comparing it to previous years and raising queries with providers. In many cases the credibility of responses will need to be analysed and further discussion with providers will be required.

Full training and guidance is provided and data verifiers are expected to work independently, referring to colleagues where appropriate. The work involves following established processes (though the verifiers will also need to exercise their own judgement, working to often tight deadlines, and communicating effectively internally and externally. People appointed to the role will develop funding expertise.

Essentials Skills:

Experience:

  • Interpreting and manipulating numerical data accurately.
  • Using Excel to a good level and good use of Word.
  • Experience of Microsoft Teams in a document management capacity
  • Managing own workload and prioritising work to meet deadlines
  • Working independently
  • Following processes and meeting deadlines accurately
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail for work that is sometimes repetitive.

Knowledge & learning:

  • Confident numerical skills: the ability to use and interpret numerical data accurately
  • Ability to quickly develop knowledge of the organisation's role and funding methods and to consult guidance documents as necessary to supplement this knowledge.
  • On-going commitment to learning and developing new knowledge and skills
  • Ability to understand information and develop judgements, sometimes working with uncertainty
